How to Fix Horizontal Jitter with AviSynth?

I'm looking to fix the horizontal jitter in my video which was caused by crappy VHS equipment. It looks like bad interlacing artefacts. You can't really see it when you play the video on your PC so I've also provided a DVD ISO if you'd like to check it on your TV.

Here's an 8 second sample MPEG 2 video.
Here's the DVD ISO.

I looked at the DeJitter plugin but I can't figure out how to use the correct settings to fix my video. Could someone please suggest a script that I could use. I'm not bothered what plugin it's for as long as it works. Thanks
