Help me find a good video editor

Hello.

I want to edit The Simpsons Movie: paste the deleted scenes in the movie etc. I've got all the AVI files, and used VirtualDub to cut and paste. But I'm not happy with the way VDub pastes and cuts. Every time the sound stops for a litte while, you really do hear where one cuts and pastes. Can anyone reccomend good video edit software, software that can paste and cut using transitions, I prefer an easy tool, no difficult and complicated tool like Womble.

Editing the original VOB files will get you closer cuts. There are many free video editors that can cut within a few frames and without re-encoding instead of working with a converted AVI.

Since you're familiar with Womble, read its manual, you can do this within that software
