Irregular scrolling in IVTC'ed video (anime)
Hi. I'm trying to rip an anime movie from a PAL DVD. As expected, the source video runs at 25 fps and is interlaced. I have used this script to return the footage to 23.976 fps and deinterlace:
Code:
mpeg2source("VTS_04_1.d2v") AnimeIVTC(mode=2, bbob=4, edimode="EEDI3", normconv=true) The result looks pretty well, except for two things: * Very little ghosting, usually in the first frame after a scene change. * Irregular motion in scrolling scenes: ![]() ![]() This second problem is what bothers me the most, but I don't know how to fix it, because I'm still new to inverse telecining. For what I have seen, the cause of this could be the source. Motion in those scenes doesn't look irregular, but it can be observed that frames get blurry intermittently (in the original VOB files). I have uploaded a sample of the source for you to be able to give a look at it: https://mega.nz/#!Y8E1zJqa!K3SmYp5g6...VSvIUuNxZyfkqU I would be grateful if you could give me a hand with this, as I still don't have the knowledge and experience enough to fix it on my own. ![]() Thank you! ![]() |
