I don't know whats the difference, but, as an ex. Handbrake 0.9.5 deinterlaces Blu_ray movies correctly, while it doesn't 1080i hdtv captures.

Every time you bring up stuff like this, you have to provide the source samples, otherwise there is NO WAY for us to know what is going on. And if you don't properly analyze the videos and understand what is going on, you'll continue to grope in the dark.

You have people here that will help you learn this stuff, but they can't help if you provide only vague and confused reports. I've told you this several times but you just won't get it.
