BD3D to M2TS
Hi,
I rip my 3D discs to m2ts with film only mode. BD -> FILM ONLY folder, get m2ts. it's the only way i find to rip br3D and play on my oppo. on some films, left and right eyes are inverted (edge of tomorrow, The Jungle Book). on my tv, i can invert while playing, but i don't have the option on my projector. is there a way to invert eyes at the creation of the backup? |

Hi guys, I have a Bluray copy on my hd of Alice Through the looking Glass 3D and I donīt have any system that support 3D, I mean, My Bluray player, My Led TV etc dont support 3D, so, I can see on BD rebullder settings the "Process 3D video sources as 2d for backup" so I encoded this movie and I tried it on my computer with Powerdvd and ask me for 3D
So I wonder if this option of Bd rebuilder is to convert the 3D to 2d? or what exactly does that function? and thereīs some way to encode with Bd rebuilder the 3D to 2d? Thank you for your time guys |

The thing with 3D is that even if you process it with the option to treat as 2D, that doesn't mean that the java code on the disc will allow it. Certain code can exist that enforces the need for a 3D capable playback device, regardless of the fact if BDRB made the video 2D or not. There's nothing BDRB can do about that.

BD Rebuilder v0.50.19
I have updated the first post of this thread with a link to the latest version of BD-RB (v0.50.19). Changes for this release:
Code:
- Added the ASS/SSA subtitle format to those supported during import (converts to SRT). - Fixed an error during import in which weird source size could result in an AddBorders() filter appendix that causes encode failure (YV12 AddBorders parameters must be MOD2). - Corrected an issue in which framerates that are slightly off might prevent import from converting to pseudo-bd format. - Modified code so that SRT files that exist in an import folder that have the same name as selected video files (except with an SRT extension) will be automatically imported. Also see the IMPORT_SRT_LANG hidden option in HIDDENOPTS.TXT for setting a default language for the imported SRT. Note that SRTs that are embedded in a source stream retain their specified language and are not affected by the IMPORT_SRT_LANG setting. - Included an older version of X264 for users that use X264/LAVF frame serving. Newer X264 versions run significantly slower in this mode (probably due to libavformat updates that are slower). - Added code that will recognize when sources using AC3 with variable bitrate might have an incorrect bitrate in the header. - Updated the included version of X264.EXE to the latest release (r2721). - Updated the included version of X264-64.EXE to the latest release (r2721). - Other minor corrections and cosmetic fixes. |

To Robert
Just wanted to let you know that I received your gift card -- but, for some reason, I didn't get a return address in the e-mail. So I'm posting here to let you know I got it -- and to thank you -- your generosity is greatly appreciated! |

No. Sorry. I'll get to work on that tomorrow. I'm also going to work on the ability to make BD-5/9 menus that will work (AVCHD). I got a couple gift-card donations this week and got me thinking I might spend some more time on it.

This has probably been asked but I couldn't find the answer to help me decide. The question is in setup under decoding/frame serving there are 4 choices the only two I have used are the top two "Use DirectshowSource for frame serving or Use X264's internal". Which one is better to use and a quick explanation of why, or even the last two (I've never used the last two) but maybe their better.
Thanks, Shuttle99 |

If you are using an Intel processor that is supported by the Intel SDK library, you may get some extra speed out of FRIM -- but it's really there to support 3D, and it gets set automatically for that when needed. DGDecNV is probably the best choice for everyday use -- but it costs money (you have to buy a license). It also requires a supported Nvidia video card, and if you are using Win10 the list of supported cards has shrunken (many older cards don't work anymore).
