Framestep seems to be broken in 3573. It works fine in 3571.

@yonta
Thank you for the information. We have different issues with MPC Audio Renderer after r3572.

I installed Win10 Pro 1803 on a separate SSD, and recognized lots of dropped frames with madVR at start (abot 3 seconds of the video is static at first frame.
I updated Radeon Driver to 18.4.1, but it is still the same thing. Anybody else having trouble?

I have my Win10 1709 installation on another SSD and put it already back in the computer and everything works fine. Newest version of madVR, LAV Filters nightly, except MPC-BE r3571.

Is that a AMD Driver or Win10 issue? Maybe anything else? Is Nvidia fine?

AND: MKV files don't get thumbnails anymore without thirdparty apps in 1803. Is that intended? 1709 is fine.

Ok, today problem of windows persistency, after having closed MPC-BE, appeared again and, even after resetting registry + ini file, now it stays.

Can't really understand reason. It's the only windows program to act like this.

@tormento
Does this issue always occur or when you close after playback?
Take a screenshot of the list of active filters (Play->Filters).

I found the setting in madVR which doesn't work in 1803 as in 1709 - "enable automatic fullscreen exclusive mode"
In windowed mode, there is no problem.

I think it's a issue with windows 10 rs5 multitab interface. Later I will try more.

Almost all subtitles between 00:21 and 01:30 are shown later than they should be.

(using build 721)

VLC: normal
MPC-HC: normal
MPC-HC with Xysubfilter: normal
MPC-BE: has this problem
MPC-BE with XySubfilter: has this problem

This fixed bug from almost 3 years ago reappears in recent builds.
Basically most of the PGS subtitles are affected.

Options -> Internal Filters - "Buffer length" set to 10 sec.

10 seconds is not long enough in some very extremely rare cases...

Then can the default value of the buffer length be higher? As not every user knows this workaround.(not necessary to be 10, but 3 is simply too low when watching video with these subtitles)

Ok. It's a multitab issue. If I add MPC-BE to the list of the apps that don't have to use multitab, I get that bug. If I remove it, it works ok.

If any developer has Windows 10 RS5, get a try.

I did a clean installation of lav filters, now, without adding the lav audio, video and splitter to external filter list inside mpc be, the lav is working fine on its own. How possibile?

I had to disable all internal filter to make this happen.

A very large buffer creates a lot of problems. But I still made it possible to increase it to 15 seconds in r3595. I hope this is temporary and we will find another way to fix this. The default value (3 seconds) will not change.
