The difference between 265 and 266 quantization

As the title, what's the difference between HEVC and VVC quantization?
How VVC does scalar quantization?
How trellis-coded quantization works in VVC?

We literally don't know. VVC is so in it's infancy that there is no measure for it.

These questions better for the VVC thread, or a new topic in that forum: https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=174940
Offhand I'm not aware of anything fundamentally different about quantization in VVC from HEVC, which was itself very similar to H.264 in having a logarithmic QP where every six steps would reduce the actual quantizer by half.

I'd consult the VVC spec if there are specific details you need beyond that.
