Some MKV files lockup Windows Explorer
Sorry, I am a little new to this. Some of the MKV files I have won't play and seem to lockup Windows Explorer. I can't delete them, move them, etc. Could this be a codec issue? Seems weird to me.
Also, if I take one that plays fine, and open it using the mkvtoolnix GUI and merge or edit anything, the resulting MKV file will lockup Windows Explorer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Probably a buggy shell extension
Try to run this command from an (elevated) console: regsvr32.exe /u shmedia.dll

Tried the unreg command and that .dll isn't on my system (as far as I know). I did a search and didn't find it either.
I have the Divx codec, but I don't have Divx thumbnail generator. At least I don't see it listed anywhere. I only installed the Divx codec, not the full software. |
