that is where Kodi/SPMC/MrMC come in. They show me the art work, respect chapters and subtitles, etc.

I haven't tried ISO or Bin/Cue to see how they are handled.

Agreed from my tests from the help of a friend. DVDFab Does remove it... I haven't used the combo yet, but I know it does, in part because you typed so. But also read so.

Tested MKVs with my new burner and since it's writing correctly where my much older ASUS were failing, the older LG is still reading fine.

What was need? You guessed it. I'll get a new cheap BD/MKV player for BD discs...and pass the knowledge to my Family and much, much more. Maybe it'll inspire more firmware hackers?

I imported a couple of .mp4 files which were taken with a mobile phone. Source is 1920x1080p VFR as reported by MediaInfo. In fact the true video framerate appears to be CFR 29.97 or very close to it.
These files are imported in the pseudo folder as 1920x1080p23.976, and audio is out of sync. They are then encoded accordingly at 1920x1080p23.976 with audio out of sync.
Shouldn't these files be kept at the original framerate of 29.97 and encoded as 1920x1080i29.97, or even better as 1920x1080p29.97 with --fake-interlace?

I think the culprit is the pseudo VFR of the source.
Is there a setting/hidden option which I missed?

I tried the various IMPORT_VFR_..... options in the .ini. It didn't help …

DVDFab 10.0.8.8+ does remove Cinavia. I was done before that version but..I'm not interested in getting the exact version. It looks and sounds like there isn't any degrading of audio is process.

Does BD_RB have a setting to force the import of 25 fps sources to stay 25 fps and not get "upgraded" to 23.976 fps?

IMPORT_PAL_TO_FILM does that -- But the default is to keep 25fps as 25fps. You normally have to set this value in order to force the conversion. See HIDDENOPTS.TXT for details.

I have IMPORT_PAL_TO_FILM=0 set in my ini. But BD_RB is still converting my 25fps source to 23.976fps.

0 is the default. IMPORT_PAL_TO_FILM=n n = 0/1 - Default=0, if set to 1, imported 25fps video file sources are converted to 23.976, only if set to 1 should it convert. I'd post the log and if jdobbs wants them the .ifo & bup files in a zip file or something so he can analyze the structure

The source is a 25fps .ts file. So no .ifo & .bup files are available

Well, here's a new error I just ran into:

CreateMenu() 00076 4000

This was during Building Menu Structure. It was the 2nd menu of 2. All four files are there, but at the moment I do not know if the 2nd menu is valid.

JD, do you want a copy of the disc ISO of the DVD that BDRB was having trouble seeing all of the titles?

UPDATE: Nope, the resulting disc just started playing an episode and if I press "menu" on the remote, it skipped to another episode.

I think you need to reread my postings. It is only BDRB that misses the title. DVDFab and VideoReDo have no problem seeing all of the titles.

I imported 18 short clips (.mp4), setting all import size thresholds to zero.
All 18 clips got imported and processed and were included in the Quick Menu, but surprisingly only 4 out of the 18 were shown in Stream Tab of BD-RB.

Now that you mention it, the stream list only showed 1 of the 12 MKV files that it processed. They are all there though. I really haven't paid much attention to the stream list. Maybe I should, just to see if it is a pattern.

Yep! In my case setting both to Zero solved it. Thanks.
Surprisingly though all items were imported, processed and burnt to the disc including the playlists; it was only on the Stream Tab where some were missing.

Btw. could you already duplicate the .mp4 framerate issue?

Interesting. The M2TS is the default of 100MB and the other is set to 1 min. All 12 files in this case are above those values.

Another test disc I created has two 4GB+ files and again, only one.

I'll have to try setting both to zero to see what happens.

UPDATE: No difference. Only 1 of the 5 showed up.
