ANALOG - Visible bleed on the eyes

Hey, so i want to know about this bleed, visible on the side of the eyes of this character.

I've been wanting to solve a lot of the issues with this analog master, found on official DVDs (this is the only source we have).

Do you guys know what is this artifact, and how it can be fixed/reduced?

Possibly ghosting, which can be reduced with vslghost. There also appears to be some haloing and rainbowing.

Yes, vslghost apparently works since I've seen other animated stuff fixed by it. I haven't been able to try since I don't want to update my AVISynth version. Another filter that's effective is edgesidebleed().
