Simulating Analog Video Smear

I've been thinking about:
How i can recreate an analog video smear like this?



I've been wanting to do this effect somehow.

Blurred chroma displacement on the blue channel? If you mean that smear on the right side if the text below aswell?

Yep. I'm talking about the smear on the right side of the text.
But this can happen to luma as well.
Also, i prefer you detail the channels as YUV.

So... i later discovered that i can just simply use edgesidebleed with negative numbers to simulate the smear, so... yeah. Great tool!

But still, thanks for the help, guys. You guys are so helpful.
