Development build 2057 is already available since two weeks or so. You only need to select the development update server in the MeGUI settings.

And I decided to release a preview build of OneClick v.Next as it will take a lot longer than expected to finalize it. But I would like to hear your feedback if it is developing in the desired direction.

Code:
xxxx improved OneClick encoder:
     - added subtitle control (including delay, language, name, forced/default flag)
     - enhanced audio control (added delay, language, name)
     - AVS files as video input supported
     - every OC job will be stored in a unique working directory
     - added option to select default audio/subtitle languages
     - added option to select default working directory
     - remember "Show Advanced Options" setting
     - folder as input supported (in progress!)
Download MeGUI OneClick Preview Use at your own risk!

Is there currently or is there planned a method for adding multiple jobs to the queue? IE I have a group of files that all process the same via the one click encoder, can they be added all at once or only one at a time?

For recorded TV episodes, the one click encoder now work very well indeed using a profile, just would like to add files in batches.

Also, is there a way to tell one click processor which indexer to use? I have dgindexnv in stalled and it works great with h264 video but for tv episodes that come from tivo in mpeg2 format, nv has LOTS of problems and is very unstable. Has been for many iterations so I just don't use it for mpeg2 content. Normally I have to rename the licence file so meGUI thinks its not installed in order for oneclick to not use it. Could I just define an avssynthprofile for mpeg2 files and use that to force dgindex or ffmsindex? Pointers on how to do this would be very helpful.

I'm getting an error message from megui when using the AVS script creator. Upon loading a d2v file, an error message says "...[plugin].dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette." as it tries to load avisynth plugins. This repeats through a bunch of plugins and then MeGui crashes.

Avisynth and the plugins work fine by themselves - tested with ffmepg and MPCHC. The errors started after wiping my hard drive and a fresh reinstall.

It is planned.

Have you already reported that issue to neuron2 (DGIndexNV developer)?

Thanks, look forward to the new features. Nice to know I am not missing a better way just because I don't know how.

I did report a previous problem where encodes using dgindexnv were comming out 2x the correct length and that got fixed but since then its very unstable with mpeg2 files. IE when encoding a batch of mpeg files, I'll get exception not handled in dgindexnv errors every few hours. Redoing the same file passes fine but the error comes back and shuts things down again on a later file. Using dgindex or ffmsindex runs for days without problem. Trouble is, I cannot reproduce the error in the same place on the same file.

Latest svn build, automated 2 pass blu-ray encode. On pass 2, after 6 hrs ( 8hr total estimate) exits with this error :

--[Error] [11/3/2011 3:07:18 PM] Process exits with error code: -1073741819

Never happenned before. Google serach indicates usually happens <30 sec into first pass.

Edit: re did the 2nd pass and this time it completed w/o error.

Thanks for all the one click encoder work Zathor! I'll be sure to try it out in the next few days and report my findings.

Thanks again for all the hard work on MeGUI.

I have updated the above mentioned preview build. No new features - just less bugs.

I typed this in for the thread search and haven't seen it requested as a feature. My suggestion would be to have a built in screenshot ability to take a still image of whatever is in your preview window. maybe from the preview window you can right click the image and have a menu appear where one option is "take screenshot" and that gives you the option to save that particular frame onto your computer in whatever format you want (jpeg, png, etc.). I guess have the default name of the picture come up as the exact frame number but of course you could change the name to whatever you want.

This would just be much simpler than what I currently do which is prntscrn and open it in paint then crop down to just the preview window.

Please let me know if this is a good idea or if you've already thought of it but decided to leave it out for a particular reason

(side note: is there a way to have a side-by-side screenshot taken? either have two frames next to each other where left frame is before and right frame is after filters? or just one frame where left side of frame is the before and right side of frame be after and I guess a line down the middle?)

Hi,

I have recently upgraded from the stable build to the development build, currently running 2057. I have the following problem: when I load an avisynth script, MeGUI automatically picks up the script name for output name, but now the option to insert custom output name is often greyed out. In other words, it often happens that it is not possible to specify custom name for the output other than the name of the avisynth script. It is not always like that, but I was not able to determine any pattern as to when this happens. Am I missing something or is this an actual bug?

EDIT: This also sometimes occurs with the stable build 2050.

any chance of this becoming an option in a future build? or am I the only one who would want this?

For me really, batching is the most important thing. If I could point to a directory which has lots of .avs scripts, and then choose a setting for them all (vid/aud) and then do "one click" and choose there mp4/follow-settings-of-profile, and have them all enqued? That'd be SO helpful... I mean, Over past 2 days I've put ~150files to encode... Each file say it take... 5-7 seconds to put there...~1050 seconds... that's like, lets say 20 minutes of just mind-numbingly doing just that operation... Christ...

I just tried the new oneclick features and it failed. The same process done the conventional way in MeGUI works fine.
