Authoring DVD only audio (single picture in background)
Hi boy.
I long time i don't log but i'm always around this forum, here is a school. A long time i don't author any dvd. I need hints to author a dvd only with Dolby Digital (5.1 channels, of course) and that can be used a single picture in background because --> the target is hear the audio, the target is not to 'see' the pictures. Thank you in advance and greetings, any help will be very welcome! |

ha, ha.... haaa ... that's was really fun, read this:
i'm sorry dear friend Emulgator, but believe me, i have Muxman a long time and forgot...i have muxman for more than 10 years.lol i'm really 'growing old'. lol What i remember is that Muxman will reencode the audio and i don't want to reencode my AC3 or DTS in 5.1 channels, --> i want to 'author' a dvd with 'my sources' without reencode them. If you can help me more i will be really happy and full of joy. Best regards Emulator! and big Last edited by raquete; 26th September 2023 at 18:47. |

Well, no worries, Muxman won't reencode any audio nor video, it does not even bring any tools for that. It checks compliancy, and then muxes. The only encoders inside are the MPEG still encoder for menu background / jacket picture and the subpic RLE encoder, so bringing already compliant 5.1 AC should be fine.
