What are the other advantages of Double Layer DV over Single DV ??

Before you ask, yes I googled it lol and what I got was the Double Layer DV has two layers obviously, an SDR one and a DV one. So for for people with non-HDR TV's, they could still watch it in SDR without having washed out colours or needing to use MADVR to tonemap to SDR. But does it provide any other benefit such as better picture quality or better compression ??
