Why are you using coreAVC? Is your graphics card using the latest Nvidia GPU chipset?

If so, you need to look at DGDecNV

It is, IMHO, a better GPU serving program that works perfectly with AVISynth.

If you aren't using a Nvidia GPU chipset, nevermind!

deank, I have been experimenting with Carousel motion menus on some AVCHD backups. The style is appealing to me, as it also resembles many Blu-ray menus.
However, I was wondering if it is possible to have that same type of menu that will only display the words for buttons, without the black border at the bottom of the menu?
This way, it would display the full motion menu video on screen, with only the words visible as the button selections.

Also, I have a project with 5 imported mpls/videos. The first in the list is set to hidden, since I want it to be played only at disc start and not included in the menu.
After this first hidden video plays, I want to go to the main menu, for selection of the other four titles. However, my project will only start at the main menu, no intro hidden title ever plays.
What do I need to do or set to make a title play first when a disc is started, instead of the menu, and after this titles ends it goes to the menu?

Take a look at:

.\multiAVCHD\templates\res\Carousel\

There is a file: CM_bott.bmp which is the bottom strip. Edit/resize it to 1x1 and you'll get rid of the bottom line.

About the menu:

[x] Skip top menu playback will make your player play the hidden/first title and then go to the menu.

Just realized I forgot to set skip top menu playback, so now it is working. Thanks.
I will now check the menu template!

OK I have found the CM_bott.bmp, it says 1920 x 148. How do you edit to 1x1?

Download this one and put it in the folder. Make a backup of your file first (if you wish).

Just right-click and select 'Save link as...'.

Is there a way to have a larger highlight button? Actually, I use Play, Setup, Scenes and Extras as my four button selections. Can I have the entire word "highlight" as a button selection?

No, it is not possible at the moment. multiAVCHD can use only these simple square/rectangle overlays as buttons.

I'm wanting to convert a blu-ray to AVCHD and I want to keep the menus as well. I don't want to have to recreate the menus from scratch.

I don't want BD5/BD9 either or I'd just use BDRB.

Will this program work for that?

If it is not BD5/9, is it BD25/-R/RE?
What is your playback method, PC, standalone, etc...?
You can use multiAVCHD in re-author mode to keep the Blu ray structure with menus, etc... and if you are burning to BD-R/RE you may not have to reencode all files, only some to fit BD25.
AVCHD, typically to BD5/9 media, will need to be reencoded to a lower bitrate per AVCHD specs for standalone playback. PC playback is more forgiving.
So, yes it will work for that, and depending on your method of playback, will determine what steps from multiAVCHD you will need to perform.

Why AVCHD (written to BD25)?

The answer to your question is simple - use BD-Rebuilder to get Blu-ray backup. There is no point in creating AVCHD disc, especially when using BD media.

In build 762:

* Warning when loading files muxed with mkvmerge 4.1/4.2
* Additional check/processing for files with audio tracks with wrong sample rate (48/96/192kHz supported only)
* Fixed chapters/thumbnail links for thumbs 13-96
* Advanced subtitle processing fix (and goSUP, too) - sometimes the last SRT line is not imported if no CR+LF is present as last line EOL

I'll still be using dvd media, but don't want the compatibility issues that some players have with bd5/9 compared with basic avchd.

For the task you can use BD-Reauthor mode in multiAVCHD and select [AVCHD relaxed] output mode (after you click [START]).

@deank

Hi!

As I mentioned to you via one-way email, it will be interesting to see if the "Cinavia" watermarking flourishes - and if it does, how HD-DVD (more complete, including chaptering, etc) may prove to be a godsend.

If nothing else, I'm tenacious ;>}

I know that you are currently functioning (the program silly, not you), but the answer to your query (for the interest of potentially others), is to use a program like Photoshop and change the canvas size to a width of 1 and a height of 1. Any image editing program that can change the canvas size and/or the image size can be used.

Sounds like this might want to be a checkbox in the future: [x] display menu button underline

I'm confused, AFAIK BD5/9 media doesn't exist. The smallest capacity you can get is BD25.

Don't you really mean DVD5/9?
