Any other changes besides trying to make Norton friendly? Should everyone update to this version? |

BD Rebuilder v0.38.06 (beta)
I've updated the first post with links to a new version of BD Rebuilder (v0.38.06). Changes for this release:
Code:
- Fixed a continuing error in which the correct version of HAALI may show as "Incorrect" when using INSPECT on a 32 bit version of Windows. - Recompiled and reecrypted EXE to prevent the Norton A/V software from falsely indicating a virus. - Other minor corrections and cosmetic fixes. Yeah, there are a lot of Norton A/V users, that's why I have to try and get around this...
I know it's needed these days -- but I really, really hate A/V software. This kind of crap happens all the time. They've gotten too clever for their own good and now they are wrong as often as they are right. Let me know how it works out. I can recompile as many times as it takes... Hi all,
When trying to rebuild Animal House tonight, I got a repeated "encode failed" before it skipped to the next project in the queue. Hi all, sorry I don't know if I 'm putting the post in the right place or if I have to open a new post.
I have follwing problem to use the BD rebuild on my PC with OS WIN7 ultimate 64 Bit. In other pc all works fine I tryed also to put a new version 38.06 of Rebuild but nothing is changed. I download all the sw suggested and running also the ispection exe file. In a ripping phase It stopped immediately. I tryed with Harry potter 4 & 5 with same result. Any suggest? Note: I'm running version 11.0.6200.754 (64-bit) with virus definitions from today. (Aug. 3) I just did a fresh install and a full system scan, and it ignored BD Rebuilder. I even extracted both downloads multiple times to different directories to give it a good shot at seeing it. Last edited by Chuckwagon; 3rd August 2011 at 17:11. |

Page 1 download of this thread still a no go for Norton Prem 360....I am now getting 404 page not found error from the link on the recompile near the top of this page. I guess you are recompiling again. It was a success from me disabling Norton's Prem 360 Anti Virus and redownloading earlier during the night. I was able to burn Source Code movie to Bd-25 fine.
I can stick around awhile longer to try again when you are ready. Just like 'Synthea' I am unable to figure out how to allow bdrebuilder.exe in Norton's AV file tables. Should I attempt to inform their support team that this file is OK? Last edited by dvdgdry; 3rd August 2011 at 18:42. |

I hate Norton Prem 360. I have added bd_rebuilder.exe to the exlusions list in it and have disabled its' SONAR and SONAR still removes it. I have rebooted my PC and have the same results. The only thing I have found to work is after downloading 38.06a from this site is to disable the Anti-Virus program and begin downloading the movie before reenabling the Anti-Virus from Norton Prem 360.
I have tried this after Ch3vr0n's last post. |
