It seems the process continues? Does it finish?

SGT_PEPPERS_LONELY_HEARTS_CLUB_BAND is an audio bluray with only a little video on it. All original audio together is just too much to fit on 22,95 GB. You can check that after the job in the working path. If you want to keep all original audio you have to split the disc in two.

While you can split the disc in two, you won't gain anything because you'll end up using two 25GB discs. In other words, don't bother.

Illegal Framerate/unknown

tsMuxer was used to take MKV 4k HDR files and create Blu-ray folders. BRDB was then used to read in the folders to create the intermediate Blu-ray structure. No issues. Because the total file size was too big for a BD-25, I then hit backup so that BDRB would recode the files to fit. But, it immediately failed with an error that the framerate was illegal/unknown. That is not true, as it is 23.976.

I then started the NVENCCRE program and it is happily recoding the videos.

Why would BDRB give such an error?

I had the same issue as previously posted. It appears both our sources are 4K(UHD). I wonder if that has something to do with it? Below is my information.

Weird. I looked at the code, and it appears you can only get that error if the framerate is zero (as listed in the MPLS).

I just tried to look at one of the BDs that I created with BDEdit and don't see a location where the frame rate is listed in the playlist.

It's in the stream_attributes() of the video stream in the STN_table which is part of a PlayItem() in the PlayList() table.

Ah, the Vi tab is empty. Under the DV tab it is 23.976. So, if you only look at the Vi tab, you'll get unknown. The DV tab needs to be checked as well.

From the specification (specific to the STN_table's video entry):

frame_rate: This 4-bit field indicates the frame-rate of the video stream associated with a stream number for the stream_attributes(), and shall be set to a value according to frame_rate defined in Table 5-24 of 5.4.4.3.2.

It isn't optional.

Are you saying the PlayItem() entry doesn't have a video stream listed?

No. I'm saying that the video stream entry is listed under the DV section, not the Vi section. screengrab

The video track is flagged as DV and tsMuxeR sees that
That is why there is no info under Vi
A slight case of GIGO
Not software fault, you must check data when using hacked video files

Could this be a considered addition to BD-RB?
