AAC to AC3

I have some mp4 movies with AAC 5.1 audio.

My player does not support aac decoding though (WD TV LIVE)
so I have extracted the mp4 AAC (5.1) audio track and I want to convert it to AC3 (5.1) and remux it again with the video. Is there an easy way? I haven't found anything yet. Is there another way I can get it to play in my player?

the Software eac3to can do so

its a commandline tool:
eac3to.exe input.aac output.ac3

the problem with 5.1 aac is known in the Internet, only working solution up to now seems to be your way with ac3!

From a friend. Does this matter in any way? They are not pirated if that's what you ask.

or
neroAacDec -if input.mp4 -of - | aften -readtoeof 1 -pad 0 -b 640 - output.ac3

I ve tried BeHappy but I lost myself. What exactly is the option to convert 5.1 AAC to 5.1 AC3

And by command line. Do you mean eac3to??
