@Natty
I can add more options but in order to make it more manageable I'm refactoring a lot code which might result in new bugs and reset settings. @Ma I have a automated test that is checking for common problems and compares my code file against the help console output of x265, nvenc, qsvenc and vceenc, theoretically staxrip is in sync 100%, there are some small issues sometimes but generally the CLI interface and documentation of most encoders are fantastic. https://github.com/stax76/staxrip/bl...mmands.vb#L349

x265.exe: unknown option -- analysis-file x265.exe: unknown option -- refine-level are from StaxRip. Impressive! I just remind that: old option name ==> new option name --analysis-mode ==> --analysis-reuse-mode --analysis-file ==> --analysis-reuse-file --refine-level ==> --analysis-reuse-level From ver. 2.4+85 up to 2.4+87 doesn't work 2-pass encoding (we are waiting for a patch). |

I think the newest test build has everything changed correctly but I'll double check it when the patch is here.

Thank you for the fix; staxrip has taken every audio i have thrown at it and processed it as expected. great stuff
Another small bug (in 1.5.0.0 at least); it seems that staxrip can't burn in .sup subtitles (don't understand why, but fair enough). In tools > advanced > hardcoded subs, the extension filter has *.sup (and others) in the list but when a .sup file is selected stax throws "only idx, srt and ass file types are supported" error dialog. |

It could probably be more intuitive and more clear, unfortunately AviSynth has no sup filter, only VapourSynth. At the moment I cannot change it as I'm trying to implement parallel audio processing, the code quality of this area is a total mess.

Hello Frank.
A new QSVEncC v2.70 is available: (with a few new options and bug fixes) https://onedrive.live.com/?id=6BDD43...DD4375AC8933C6

Seems for me Staxrip is preventing the monitor to turn off after the 5 minutes I have it set to. Not standby, just monitor off. Using knlmeanscl, but was never an issue before with earlier builds. Using latest test build, but was happening with the previous one as well.

@gonca
As far as I know there isn't a AviSynth+ x64 compatible sup filter that is working in a .NET client app. There is a filter from somebody who also worked on a player but it's discontinued and don't work in StaxRip. Quote:

Thanks for the link, with the new driver neither worked, after a second look at the error:
D3D9Device: Failed CreateDeviceEx: -2005530516 I remembered there are related options so I tried --d3d11 and this works.

Ah OK.
I have my only GPU (iGPU) connected directly to the monitor, so D3D9 always works fine. I think you need the latest driver/API and Kabylake for some new features of 2.70 to work, anyway.
