Cool...
I am very happy you feel BatchMux is suitable for the usage in AVStoDVD... I planned to ask for such feature in the future, but you have been faster... ![]() Please feel free to get in touch with me (in the public forum, the Italian one, or this one, or via PM) for any contribution or information I can provide on the matter... In the meanwhile, may I ask to you to evaluate the possibility to keep BOTH authoring engines available for the users ? I can easily provide good (objective) reasons for adopting MuxMan insted of Mplex/DvdAuth, however sometimes there are conditions where some glitches - more or less severe - in the input assets lead to fail the authoring job. In these (rares... ![]() Cheers, SD Last edited by Sir Didymus; 24th October 2007 at 13:19. Reason: spelling... |

I actually use CCE and 2-pass VBR when I feel the bitrate would be a little low for my liking. It results in higher quality, and since I paid for CCE why not have the option to use it?

I've got an issue too:
http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i3.../AVS_error.jpg Clicked OK and left encoding going and DVD creation fails at the end. |

@rendez2k
Thanks for the log file. One question: have you installed on your system .NET Framework? The issue seems to come from MultiCoreEnc (wrapping QuEnc) which is written in VB NET.... ![]() @G_M_C Yes CCE SP support ended. As said before, I would push AVStoDVD users to switch to HCenc for very high quality encoding. Give a try to HCenc, you will be surprised by speed and quality. Or stay with AVStoDVD 1.1.3. ![]() ![]() Bye |

Ok, let's move ahead, if you will.
![]() 1. What Avisynth release do you have installed? 2. Did you have same error using release 1.1.3 (with multicore enabled - remember to rename file \AVStoDVD\Plugins\MultiCoreEnc_.exe to \AVStoDVD\Plugins\MultiCoreEnc.exe)? 3. Release 1.2.0: open AVS Script Window, uncheck "Automatic Script", and delete ".Normalize()" from end of line 2. Start encoding. Thanks for the debug. ![]() Bye |

I've got probs with 120 too. After installation it refuses to start with an (in my case german) error message (rough translation): "Run-time Error 481: Invalid picture".
Previous versions worked ok, the error appears on 3 different PCs. Thanks in advance, Filbert [Edit] Just found out that windows wants to replace some files in the Windows directory with the ones from the original XP-CD (after installation of AVS120). Then it works ok. So some ".dll" or other files you install there seem to be incompatible with some XP installations. Last edited by Filbert; 19th November 2007 at 15:37. |

I had that issue too on a UK English XP SP2 install |

In the meanwhile I have removed 1.2.0 installer package from SourceForge page. There is still the No_Install package available for testing. Very, very sorry... Bye Last edited by MrC; 19th November 2007 at 22:07. |

![]() Did you try changing AVS Source method? Go to Settings/Encoding/AVS Source Filter and select "AVISource". Same error? Another (mayve silly) question: do you have DirectX 9 installed? :wink: Bye |
