BTW still did not tell me how to change staxrip to encode using GPU instead of CPU..
Use the encoder to have "Intel" or "Nvidia" in the name, as is its GPU.

Hey Stax,

Could you please tell when the next program update will be available?
There was a great development as to x265 codec with the introduction of --no-recursion-skip option. It would be great if you include this switch to the settings of x265.
Thanks!

You can easily add --no-recursion-skip in Custom field. It works fine. Just update x265 to 1.9.167 or later

Yeah, already done that and doing some testing, thanks mate. Slightly off topic, but do you happen to know if I should use this setting along with tune grain or not?

Request

Hi Stax, I want to know if its possible to display/show what current video pass is encoding next to the ETA/fps. If that's not possible its not a big deal since I can check the current encoding commands that shows what pass is encoding, just that it takes some time to find it.

Keep first audio track as is
Change second track to "no audio"

Hi luigizaninoni

That's what I did m8 and then it threw that error at me.

I've gone back to StaxRip_1.2_Technical_Preview because when I updated to the lastest stable version I had problem after problem.

Well, in your picture it says "the first and second audio files or streams are identical". It doesn't show that you selected "no audio"

Anyway, it works fine on all my pcs, no reason it shoudn't work on yours, so please recheck if you set "no audio" to your second audio stream

Yes it does m8 but when I changed it to no audio for the bottom one that's when it threw the error up.

This option usually works fine on my PC too but this option on this DVD didn't work.

Like I said I got it working straight away in the older version.

Something isn't right out of 100's of DVD's I have converted I haven't had these problems at all. Got another DVD here which I converted yesterday I used these settings below

but the final output put the audio bitrate @ 448

I've just split 2 segments out of the dvd's I'm having problems with if anyone want's ago at trying to get the audio bitrate down to 192 because no matter what I try I can't get it below 448.

Rap Mania Side A Test 1
https://www.sendspace.com/file/8pk3gg

Beef-03 Test 2
https://www.sendspace.com/file/zlv1mm

It will probably be something so simple that I've missed.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks. Also how can you encode audio only with StaRip? I have only a DTS audio, it has no video track. I get error for no video.
