This should solve the problem:

IMPORT_PAL_TO_FILM=n n = 0/1 - Default=0, if set to 1, imported 25fps video file sources are converted to 23.976. Be sure that's not set to 0. Or add to config, and go another go.

I'll look at it. But in the meantime you can always set IMPORT_FORCE_FRAMERATE=24. But don't forget to delete it after the import, or your next import might have issues.

I think there was a reason why 24fps could be converted to 23.976 during import... but it was a long time ago and I can't remember why...

Works like a charm!

I will create 2 BD Rebuilder folder, one called "BDRB24"

The video playback without stutter and finished with 24fps.

This opens up a lot of possibilities.
But .... Why is that not in HIDDENOPTS.TXT ?. It is not documented before in this threat either. It is really hidden.

I have many undocumented settings that were put there for testing. Most are undocumented for a reason... because they would be the source of self-inflicted bug reports that people would "fail to mention". I don't want to have to deal with that.

Just remember. It doesn't change the framerate of the imported source -- it just forces BD-RB to treat it as what you set. So, for example, if you forced a 25fps source to 24 -- it would play in (slightly) slow motion.

It really is useful only for sources that, for some reason, MEDIAINFO detects incorrectly.

Now you have the memo I was joking about, too.

Programmers are very mischievous and very fun..you all are demigods of sorts. I remember programming...after that I left it for other stuff.

I hope you enjoy Samhain tomorrow. You goofy coder, admin you.

Ohh! Have you checked into https://www.videohelp.com/software/P...AudioConverter ?? Seems there's a way to deal with some DTS stuff BD RB isn't currently able.

Just a quick question, I'm planning on switching to the 4k ultra HD game and I want to know how long will it take converting a 59GB to a 25GB MKV movie with BD-Rebuilder?

That's different for everyone. That depends heavily on the cpu used for encoding, available ram, cpu workload, storage device holding the source...

Hi question about UHD support ?? before i spend hours encoding

source is UHD , can the program make a BD-25 bluray (x264) ?? to play on a BluRay player or does it make UHD-25 (x265)??

if it does make BD-25 i guess it converts HDR to SDR ?

thanks
Mike

I already put FIXED_CRF=19 in my bdrebuilder.ini but the option ist still grayed out.
Anything else I have to consider?

Not positive what you are asking. But if you plan to have it stay UHD, there is no choice. The specification requires it to be HEVC (X265). If your intent is to resize it and create a 1080p BD-25... BD-RB doesn't have an option to resize UHD to HD yet.

Can I send Michi the testing version you have sent me by PM ?
It improves a lot the FF/REW problem on Dolby vision titles.
Any development on that issue ?
Thanks
