Modern x64 Avs+ compatible/friendly build of DGMPGDec/DGDecode

Is it possible to get a modern up to date x64 build of DGMPGDec/DGDecode? There's a 10 year old x64 build, but it returns a green screen when used with the Avs+ version of MP_Pipeline.

Stax, MPEG2DecPlus is v2.6 colorspace compatible, eg YV24, and I'm guessing that not Avs+ HBD compatible, yes ?

You mean high bit depth? Are there any MPEG2 files with high bit depth?

I have that and have been using it for years with VC1 & H264. I thought the MPEG-2 handling wasn't as robust in DGDecNV as DGMPGDec/DGDecode. That's what I remember reading some years ago, so my default for MPEG-2 has been DGMPGDec/DGDecode.

Tell me, what is not robust about it?

Well according to your own post it doesn't support 4:2:2 color whereas the other does, so there's one.

Do I have to keep finding your own posts and showing them to you?

That's not a matter of robustness.

It's actually one of the definitions of "robust"

"capable of performing without failure under a wide range of conditions"

The example given is "robust software"

You could argue that 8bit 4:2:2 MPEG2 falls under a "wide range of conditions." It's actually very common in broadcast scenarios as XDCAMHD422

Eh? DGDecNV absolutely does "perform without failure under a wide range of conditions". It's irrelevant that it does not support some single condition. If you want to take it to the limit you'd have to say that DGMPGDec is not robust because it does not open MKV, or other video types. In fact you'd have to say all software is not robust because it doesn't support everything.

Dude, take a breath and chill... Not everyone who has a different opinion from you is out to get you or suffers from "DG derangement".

There are perfectly valid reasons why someone might want a modern x64 build of DGMPGDec/DGDecode. MPEG2DecPlus has some of the functionality of DGMPGDec/DGDecode stripped out. DGDecNV does not supersede DGMPGDec/DGDecode in every way nor does every PC have a Nvidia graphics card in it.

If you don't want to make such a build (for whatever reason), just say so without all the theatrics and drama.

Don't which one is "better" between this one and MPEG2DecPlus.

You're the one who claimed DGDecNV is not robust. Now you are deflecting from that by attributing all kinds of nonsense to me. I only objected to you calling DGDecNV not robust. Everything else is your own creation.

It was not as robust when I tested it against DGMPGDec/DGDecode in terms of handling damaged MPEG-2 stream from OTA HDTV recordings about 10 years ago and I believe others posted similar findings. I'm sorry that your fragile ego can't handle that some people might think that DGDecNV is not perfect and better than DGMPGDec/DGDecode in every regard .

I'm sure you'll be demanding samples and receipts in short order.

It's also funny in light of the hypocrisy of his statement when a large number of his posts in many threads these days is simply trolling and sh*tposting.
