I'll be doing Salt myself today

You know Jdobbs, I use BD rebuilder and ConvertX almost equally as much for conversions. I have zero bugs with Rebuilder and convertX is plagued with bugs! You keep up the good work

Hi. Assuming my original is AVC, is there an alternative setting such as LAVF that might produce a different result in my case (avoiding the color shift)?

By the way, I just tried compressing Apocalypse Now Redux and received an (unrelated?) error 2506 after the job was apparently finished:

@TheBreen

I would also recommend you uninstall FFDSHOW and reinstall it. Then rerun the job immediately thereafter. That way if something else has stolen the action, it should be set back to FFDSHOW for the encode. If that doesn't work, try it with LAVF and see if you get the same results. LAVF uses a different decoder.

If I remove the Limit to one track, then eight of the nine are kept, of course except the DTS Express track.
Since this is a multi-m2ts Blu-ray, with three seperate versions of the movie to choose from, it requires many deselections of the audio tracks that are unwanted, and for the 20+ m2ts per version it is quite time consuming and requires checking every title to make sure all selections are the same and match each other!
Since it appears more titles are being released that are multi-m2ts, a simpler audio setup for these type movies will be very welcome.
I got the same results as you with the audio selections on SALT. I'll look at it today. Unusual that the DTS Express track was first on the list -- odds are that's related to the issue somehow.

There's an error in 36.07. It doesnt matter if i insert a disc or an anydvd ripped BD Folder. I keep getting "not a bd structure". see images. If i open the same folder in 36.06 it scans completely. BTW love that you addedmy ? suggestion and will display total project duration

chose a tumbnail here as image to not mess up topic layout. image size is 1920*1200

Weird... I've been using it for several days with no issues at all. In fact I'm running SALT with it right now. Anything unusual about your setup? Try deleting the BDREBUILDER.INI file and see if it changes.

Has anyone else experienced this?

nothin changed. Just replaced all files from the archive. Deleting the ini file still gave the error. deleted " --" from the source folder name, moved it to root of the drive. Still the error. Deleted entire bdrb folder (but moved bdrebuilder.ini file first), redownloaded, extracted, tried a couple diff discs & folders. its only 36.07 that gives the error

** edit ** if i right click in the blank frame after dismissing the error dialogues i get this

the only thing i see differently on first look is that in the 36.07 .ini the version is added below [options] this is not the case in 36.06. The weird thing is that after 36.07 errors, it DOES list "approximate source content [duration time here]"

Below my ini from 36.06 and 36.07

There's an error in 36.07. It doesnt matter if i insert a disc or an anydvd ripped BD Folder. I keep getting "not a bd structure". see images. If i open the same folder in 36.06 it scans completely. BTW love that you addedmy ? suggestion and will display total project duration

chose a tumbnail here as image to not mess up topic layout. image size is 1920*1200
I think I found what the problem is... but I can't for the life of me figure why I'm not getting it too?????

Not only did this full backup to BD9 complete successfully, with no problems as a few above have reported, it plays back with the audio and subtitles correctly as well on both my Sony's, BX1 and S360!
Not sure if anything else has changed, certainly not my firmware for either drives, but I have been unable to make full disc backups to BD5/9 media if the original disc has PiP. Even though this disc has DTS Express secondary audio, and the PiP is not working when playing back that option, the three versions of the movie play back perfectly with sound and subtitles.

@Ch3vr0n, klas, and longtom

Try replacing your BD_Rebuilder.exe with the one in the attached link and see if it fixes the problem... I can see how it would be an issue -- but I can't seem to repeat it on my computers. Really weird.

Please let me know as soon as possible so I can post a fix. Thanks...

Hello.

I've had the same problem (= Ch3vr0n), and I tried your bd-rb_test_v03608.

I am pleased to inform you that it solves the problem !

BD Rebuilder v0.36.09 (beta)

I have updated the first post of this thread with a link to the latest release of BD-RB (v0.36.09). Changes for this release:
Code:
- Corrected a bug in v0.36.7 that could result in
  "ScanDirectory() 00013 2601" error.
- Corrected an issue in which a non-selectable
  audio stream in the first position of the streams
  list in conjunction with "Limit to one track for
  each language" might result in no audio being
  selected by default.
- Other minor corrections and cosmetic fixes.
