Hi

I did not know as much about resizing.
I use "LanczosResize" since 15 years, "Bilinear" was used before.
Additionally "Spline64Resize" was a new one for me.
Concerning the TV upscale mine in on halfway because it was release in 2013.
Many thanks for the detailed information.

1280x720x50fps, MPEG-4 AVC + AAC.mkv, as preview.

As h.264 +.ac3 muxed into .MTS would be ready for use on AVCHD / .m2ts on BD.
May I kindly ask to post your script?

not perfect but it's good start so you can play with filters parameters or add another filters
May I ask why "LWLibavVideoSource" are used instead of simple "Avisource"?
I do not find info on "edgesidebleed" and "sBlackerPixel" What are they doing?
I found this on YAHR3: Y'et A'nother H'alo R'educing script
Others are documented on wiki.
Can you help me with that two?

Thanks for the sample, both of you.

regards
szabi

LWLibavVideoSource cuz Avisource said that I don't has the decoder for the video

"edgesidebleed" in Advanced Denoising.avsi, sBlackerPixel in DDComb.avsi (see my signature)

edgesidebleed = edge side bleed fix

sBlackerPixel is helper function for Dark Pixels Preserve/Protect since dehalo filter can kill these Pixels

Hi

You are right it was told already, pardon.
Do you plan to add these to the external filters on wiki?

Emulgator
Thanks for the script.
May I ask why "TempGaussMC_beta2" is used instead qtgmc?
"DeHalo" and "MedSharp2" not listed on wiki but there are similar.
However I do not find what "SmoothCurve" and Y-U-Vcurve doing?

szabi

After trying some versions of QTGMC I had better results, less artifacts with TGMC_beta2 in my VHS projects.

You got to find the DeHalo algo that suits you best, there are many of them, I wasn't going to tailor all I know of.
MedSharp2 you will love as nice sharpener though.

Y is getting your blown-out hilight details back, U and V are tweaking some of the poor U and V values back in.
If chroma suits you ? You got to decide. I don't know how the jackets of the gents looked back then,
it was just my guesswork from gazing at the histogram and wanting some U and V over 127 back in.
A Viszontlátásra !
