I made a avchd compatible file, but the audio...

Something strange here, when I demux the streams using tsremux then everything seems sweet and dandy at first.
The problem though, is that there are only a english True-HD audio stream on the bluray (The 6th Day). I set it to downcode to ac3, but the ac3-track seems only to be 2.0.
I set it to choose 448 kBps ac3, but it turns out 2.0.
What could be causing this, sorry if I posted this in the wrong topic.. if so.. smack me on my fingers.

If there is more info needed, then I could perhaps give you some more info.
I manage to solve this myself, appearantly 448 kBps is too low for a 5.1 track (atleast what it seems) Chose 640 KBps now, and voila.. now it's 5.1.

Sounds like a dodgy ac3 encoder to blame there, there is no reason why a 448kbps conversion would cause problems unless the encoder screws it up.

Yup, there must have been something causing the channeldrop during the demuxprocess or something... Oh well, now I'm satisfied.. 1080p + 640kBps 5.1 audio and subs... I tested a quick mux, managed to squeeze myself just beneath the threshold of 8 GB (dvd9). So this will be a treat to watch in my PS3..

Have a nice evening/night/morning/day depends where you are residentially placed.

Bye bye,
