it is very easy to test EVR 10 bit with an AMD GPU but i don't have a AMD GPU build in any of my PCs right now. if you are able to select 10 or 12 bit in the GPU driver than your display is able to process 10 or 12 bit. i wouldn't be shocked if a T220 supports 10 bit input. |

I can not for T220, but for Sony TV I can set RGB 12 bpc. In any case, I get the X8R8G8B8 in EVRcp statistics for Windows 7.

Problem playing a 4K file
Hi, I'm new to this forum. Thanks for the continuous support of MPC-BE. I browsed through the forum but couldn't find my issue, hence I'm posting this. I'm facing problem playing a 4K file-The video is stuttering and the audio is trying to auto-sync every 5-10 secs since the video lags well behind audio. As I checked the "display stats" settings, I found that the bitrate is far too low than the original file. Im getting around 3-5fps while the video bitrate around 23 fps. And also the "sync-offset" seems to gradually decrease ie the "Min" keeps going to higher negative values as the video progress. It plays in DXVA2. I have DELL 7548 laptop with internal SSD, core i7-5500U, GPU R7 M265. I could easily play file sizes around 23GB but this one video has a file size around 34GB. MediaInfo is attached. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

MPC-BE 1.5.1.2490 now has basic support for HDR. The EVR-cp renderer now automatically converts the HDR image to SDR.
EVR vs EVR-cp

When I am streaming a http stream from a local network source, the stream data is also being saved in AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\IE\[random folder].
I tested also with Vlc and mplayer-hc and they do not save the data. |
