@lowpro
BDRB has the possibility to add avisynth scripts. Assuming your source is 1920x1080, try
Code:
crop(0,120,-0,-120) #1.78 to 2.40
addborders(0,120,0,120) #letterbox (mask) for for blu-ray compliance
(It works in avisynth, I didn't try to include it in BDRB)

In case you didn't know it, the true IMAX aspect ratio is 1.44:1. That means it is cropped to fit the 16:9 width. If the movie release was done correctly, it would have pillar bars. I'm sure that the executives of the movie studios considered that it would be too jarring to those buying the Blu-ray releases. So, cropping 1.44:1 to 2.40:1 means throwing away a lot of the image. That said, that is what happens when the movie is shown in a regular theater.

[rant]I'm currently not a happy camper with IMAX. Both Dark Phoenix and Spiderman: Far From Home are both available in IMAX 3D, which means a larger image (I think). But IMAX, in their stupidity, has decided that my local IMAX theater will not get either movie in IMAX 3D. The local theater management are not happy and have had trouble getting in touch with IMAX to bitch. So, I watched Dark Phoenix in a regular 3D theater and will be doing the same with Spiderman. IMAX will not be getting my money.

Stupid thing is that it really doesn't cost them any extra to ship a 3D HDD to the theaters, as they get the HDDs back. Yes, IMAX still ships HDDs as they do not trust shipping movies via Ku satellite, even though no regular movie has ever had the encryption broken.[/rant]

I have 2 versions of same movie in UHD and BluRay. And i want to have a UHD version replacing one subtitle by the bluray subtitle.
Can this be done in BD Rebuilder ?
I tried to demux the UHD on BD Rebuilder and got an audio file error. Any other program for demux ?

One issue. I have Close Encounters in 3rd Kind UHD and the original does not play on my Oppo. It does not pass the menu start up. Any software that i can use to check commands,... ?

No. I'm working on it now. I don't want to post a new version until I have a significant improvement in UHD processing.

No, unfortunately. They've blacklisted me (unfairly I might add) forever. I argued that nothing in BD-RB and DVD-RB violates their policy until I was blue in the face -- but I might as well have been arguing with a stop sign. It still says "stop" no matter how legitimate your disagreement might be.

Wow... does that mean you're unable to use PayPal to purchase things too?

Sorry for the delays in releasing the next version... but with these crazy long UHD encode times, it takes forever to do testing of changes.

You have nothing to be sorry for......we appreciate your time and effort to make BD Rebuilder better. If you need any assistance, please say so. I have two Ryzen 7 systems that are very good at encoding videos.
