Below [Options] MIN_M2TS_SIZE=600 If you check BD-RB files to reencode from the list, the files less than this size will not be present. |

I have noticed a problem with Santa Clause 3 and with the new collectors edition of Avatar. They both have some playlist that reference parts of a larger clip. When its rebuilt the new playlist will start at the right spot, but the end time will be changed to the end of the clip instead of whatever the original length it should have been. So what should be say one minute can have a length of an hour instead.

Hey jdobbs i have a new problem
My standard settings: BD25 Quicker Encode for Extras High Quality (default) 2pass It's the new Inception BluRay, but i've the same problems with Harry Potter 1+2 Extended. So the main movie is splitted in some m2ts Files. BD_Rebuilder encodes some main movie m2ts files as extras, so they will be just 1pass encoded. So the quality is bad, some parts of the movie are pixelated because of 1pass encoding. Can i just fix this problem if i remove the Quicker Encode for Extras option? Or is this a bug of BD_Rebuilder and u can fix it? Last edited by KeVe1983; 26th November 2010 at 03:35. |

Are these associated with original discs -- and there is no preprocessing of any type? It sure sounds like there has been some manipulation that has corrupted the source. |

jdobbs you've been doing a great job here ! Cheers mate !
Straight to the point: I've been doing great BD-9 "movie only" copies with BD-Rebuilder. But now I want to make a BD-25 full backup of region A "Toy Story 3", keeping just one DTS-MA english and AC3 5.1 portuguese audio tracks and english and portuguese subs. Can anybody tell me the best settings to do so ? |

I have ripped the movie 2 times again with Fab and Any. All play fine on my PC and my Dune HD. So here are some pictures: 00004.m2ts is a part of the Main Movie and you can see that this1 is just 1pass encoded. And here you can see the comparsion between the original, 1pass encode (quicker enc. f. extras enabled) and the 2pass encode (quicker enc. f. extras disabled) Left is the original, middle1 is the 1pass encode and the right1 is the 2pass encode with Quicker encode for Extras Option disabled Last edited by KeVe1983; 26th November 2010 at 14:21. |

Like I said... nothing I can do until it is released in the U.S. But, honestly, I have my doubts...
Try opening the rip in movie-only mode. If 00004.m2ts isn't in the list, then it isn't a part of the feature playlist. By the way, there are lots of situations in which 1 pass encoding is used even for the main feature. It all depends on your "Quality" settings. But since you didn't post any of your logs or config files (as I always ask), I can't determine anything useful related to your bug report. Last edited by jdobbs; 26th November 2010 at 15:03. |

I think I had similar problem yesterday.
When I input blu-ray into bd-rb, the main movie was not expanded, it was an extra video file. my setting ARE BD-25,, HIGH QUALITY, 2 -PASS. I'm just used to seeing the main movie always expanded from the Stream list. This was the first time the main movie was not, just one of the extras. Do you think the main movie was still encoded as the main movie? The movie was Expendables. |

@MrT.
Hi! You've nothing to worry about, if you've selected full disc copy and did NOT select "Quick extras" (or whatever that wording is). BD-RB, as well as virtually any other conversion and/or ripping program will typically presume that the LARGEST individual file is the "main movie". In the case of "The Expendables", the largest individual file (6+Gb) is, in fact, an "Extras" files - while the main movie is comprised of multiple, smaller files... |

Hi! seta rip
I did have "Quicker" Encode for extras selected.. I will re-do it with it NOT selected. Thanks a lot for that info, I overlooked it. It will probably take twice as long, luckily this is not the norm Good day... |

If you have an extra that is larger than the feature -- it is possible it could be picked for movie-only. When that happens, you just select a different playlist. |
