Hybrid/Threaded Modes + 40 Posts per Page = Nothing!

Hello,

-This occurred for a long time already, but forgot to report it.

-Here's the problem: If you set the "Thread Display Mode" to "Hybrid" or "Threaded", and the "Number of Posts to Show Per Page" to 40, any long threads will be unable to display (not sure whether any number lower than 40 also affected or not). BTW, set it to "Linear" and it would be working fine.

-I don't know how long, maybe more than 1000+ posts; here's an example: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=146228.

Regards.

I noticed the same thing a while back.

As you noticed the only way to few large threads is to use the Linear mode which is not my preferred method, but I haven't heard of a work around yet.
