TPRIVTC and Uncompressed 4:2:2
I have been using Kurosu's TPRIVTC plugin for quite some time now with excellent results. However, recently I wanted to utilize it for some Uncompressed 4:2:2 AVIs (until now, I've been using it on MPEG2 streams frameserved with DGIndex). It seems even though the IVTC plays back perfectly in TMPGEnc, the decisions are not passed on in the AVISynth script, resulting in 23.98 decimated video with no progressive frame reconstruction. Is there anything in the way the plugin/avisynth/tmpgenc operates that would make working with AVI files as the source different from D2V?
On another note, am I the only one still using TPRIVTC? Have there been any other developments in the manual IVTC front? I have experimented with YATTA, but cannot figure it out for the life of me... Thanks in advance! |
