How to convert DTS-HD 7.1 to DTS-ES 7.1?

How do i convert a DTS-HD 7.1 to DTS-ES 7.1?

Is it possible with eac3to?

Not without DTS HD Master Audio Suite Encoder. And is not possible with eac3to

What's the DTS core format?

The most channels you'll get out of DTS-ES is 6.1 anyway.

Yea max is 6.1

But still i cant get 5.1 ES

any help which channel layout to chose...

DTS ES is for 6.x encodes only (you can do 6.0 or 6.1). That's the point of ES- adding the extra center surround. If you just want 5.1, use High resolution or just Digital Surround (or MA if you want lossless audio).

BTW, you have Master Audio (lossless) selected in that picture... You were suggesting you didn't want MA in your original post...
