Has BD-RB 42.03 been part of your recent tests with Toy Story; and have you checked the times I typed? Thank You.

Unfortunately I deleted the conversion log, but it didn't report any errors. I can redo it if you need it. Here is a link to the subtitle file on SkyDrive. Let me know when you have it so I can delete it: http://sdrv.ms/SbcxJk

Edit: The conversion was done using v 0.41.01
Bump.

Not as rare as you think. You just don't see it because BD-RB automatically adjusts and uses DirectShow.

If it wasn't for "pride" I would have let this project go a long time ago.

Totally understand, I just wanted to make sure you didn't miss it. I mentioned I would be glad to redo the log if you need to - just confirm (if what I say now doesn't clear it up). I posted the subtitle file. Is that not enough? Or would it be more helpful for me to cut a minute from a part of the video where it doesn't work and then post that, with video and subtitles?

I thought you were planning on charging for BD-RB eventually??

Toy Story as MKV Audio Intact

Hi. I thought since rerendering is producing choppy effects I'd have BD-RB do an MKV output.

53GB is NOT plenty. During the rebuilding process there will be more than 1 copy in existence on your HDD; the original, the extract files, the re-encode, and the rebuild. The intermediate steps (extract and re-encode) are usually deleted after the subsequent step, but you do need extra HDD space for the interim processes.

Hi. I get the structure of the NT FileSystem (NTFS) and it'll show as 0 or something resembling that if there isn't any "Storage Space" free somewhere in the process. I appreciate your analysis, thank You.
53GB wasn't the start of the amount, that's the left over free space. At the start it was about twice that.

This question is entirely irrelevant (a little as if you were asking about the color of one's underwear ) but since you ask I'll reply anyway.

Many power users use such special characters to get a coherent folder structure that doesn't rely on mere alphabetical sorting. They are very useful, for instance, to create visual groups of folders in the explorer.

Anyway, these characters exist, using them is entirely legitimate whatever the reason to do so. They should, as such, be taken in consideration by programmers.

Don't take me wrong: I'm not complaining at all, since rebuilder is free, is very helpful to me and you're definitly doing a great job. Besides, I'm not even sure that the problem doesn't lie with AFTEN rather than with your work.

I simply created a root folder entirely dedicated to BDRB output, really no big deal to break my habits for a free program that does so much right.

I think it's nonetheless important that you are aware of the glitch caused by this. Now what you do with the info is entirely up to you.

It is a valid character for file/path names but remember that its value is outside of the US-ASCII range (00h - 7Fh). So, if you cut and paste something (a command line with notepad for example), the necessary ANSI-OEM conversion does not take place. Aften has no problem with this character by the way.
I also use special characters to get file/folder sorting to my liking but I stick to characters in the ASCII range, like "_", "#", "$", etc.

Thanks for the info.
I had no idea that "§ " was outside the range, unlike "$" and "#"... learning something everyday.

And while at it I just made a second donation.

I'm encouraging all BDRB users to donate BTW.

After the install of FFDSHOW , run "Video Decoder Configuration" for FFDSHOW from the "START/Programs" menu, and make sure MPEG2 decoding is enabled. Do the same using "Audio Decoder Configuration" to ensure "Uncompressed" is set to "All Supported". See if that helps.

BTW, this is on the first page of this thread.

From the configuration instructions in the first post:
Quote:

Did you do that?

*EDIT* Didn't notice that sytyguy beat me to it

on W7 you need to run the bdrb.exe with admin rights the first time (or atleast once) so that it can correctly set the codecs if it doesnt work completely via the instructions in the first post
