@ripem2011

I saw that error the other day... if you attempt to do the TSMUXER build manually you'll probably see a buffer underrun error. I haven't put my finger on the cause yet.

Just for s&g -- try editing the X265.BAT file in the WORKFILES folder, remove the "--no-b-pyramid" from the command line, and then execute the BAT. After it is done, run BD-RB again and continue the rebuild. Let me know if it finishes the build.

BTW: An encode that finished in 1 1/2 hours! What kind of processor are you using? Even a single pass ABR at "Very Fast" is taking me about 10 hours for a movie that size.

BD Rebuilder v0.60.02

I have updated the first link of this thread with a link to the newest version of BD Rebuilder (v0.60.02). Changes for this release:
Code:
- Added code to correctly handle 50/60fps
  sources when outputting to DVD.
- Updated the included version of
  X265-64.EXE to v2.8.69 10 bit version.
- Corrected an build error in v0.60.01 that
  could cause BD-RB to fail. Noticable when
  selecting multiple streams into the batch
  list -- may also possibly happen under
  other circumstances.
- Other minor corrections and cosmetic fixes.

Thanks for the updated version. Making a dvd from a 50 fps source now works. Both in PAL and NTSC.

??? If you restarted, that would show in the log (like you can see in the other logs). I'm confused... unless, of course it ended at that time 2-3 days later.

Windows 10 error

Hello... have just installed a fresh Windows 10 v1803 w/all updates and no other software, other than BDRB v60.02 (located in Downloads/BD_Rebuilder), AviSynth_260.exe and LAVFilters-0.65.exe. When running BDRB for the first time (Run as Administrator) Windows Defender flagged it as an unsafe program, which I chose open anyway, then get the error in the 1st pic attached. Tried running REG_MSCOMCTL.BAT as Administrator as well and get the error cannot find the specified module. What's going on? Thanks for any help...

Where are you getting 50 frames/sec sources?

All EU dvd's are 50fps (that's the pal standard), speedup from 23.97(6) to 25 and then doubled.

The first error has nothing to do with BD Rebuilder, since it isn't using the installer.

Did you run the .BAT file as administrator? Also, make sure you are running it from within that folder.

That's not correct. All PAL dvd's are 25fps

PAL is 50 fields per second... 25 frames per second. The sources he's using are 720p/50fps (frames per second). You don't see a lot of that, even though they are part of the BD standard. That's probably why the bug went unreported for so long.

@jdobbs just a heads-up, SPECIAL_3D_MUX isn't documented in changes.txt

Some TV stations in Europe broadcast HD as 720p50 rather than 1080i25. I remember the hot debates about what is better when HD TV was introduced.
Secondly, many home videocams have the option to select 720p50 or 1080i25 (or now even 1080p50).
Given the fact that the true resolution (details) of home videocams came hardly ever close to 1920x1080 due the real-time compression artifacts, 720p50 has been a very reasonable compromise with no visible loss in true spatial resolution. Moreover, 720p50 needs not to be deinterlaced by the player/TV, avoiding deinterlacing artifacts.

@spotswood its outlined in step 3.1 in the OP instructions...

But to be honest, when I right click on the bat file and select "run as admin", It seems to fail because it always seems to try and run from C:\windows\system32 instead of the BD Rebuilder folder so it fails (because the OCX isn't in the win\system32 folder).

So its probably better to open an Administrative CMD prompt (Start -> Windows System -> right click on CMD Prompt -> More -> Run As Administrator)... When it launches, while in the window change to the BD-Rebuilder directory, and run the batch file from there (that is where the BAT file and the OCX file reside).... OR edit the BAT file, specify the path to the OCX file... then save/run it.
