MPC-HC - Alt + Tabbing without leaving fullscreen?
Hey guys,
I'm fairly new to this whole "video" topic. I recently switched from vlc to the mpc-hc and I'm pretty impressed. There are only two things that are really bugging me: 1. If I downscale the player window, it doesn't downscale the whole video but does some wierd zooming effect. I want it to downscale like vlc, and wmp do. 2. Everytime I Alt + Tab out of the video (to look up a word in a dictionary for example) I have to re-enter the fullscreen mode. This wasn't the case when using vlc Does anyone know how to fix these "problems"? P.S.: I'm using madvr, if that helps Last edited by gabt; 7th February 2013 at 20:20. |

For some reason, alt-shift-tab works when the view is on top, but alt-tab doesn't work. Does this happen for others? I've searched around and the only obvious solution is an autohotkey script.
More importantly, is there a way to retain fullscreen without forcing the window on-top, without the aid of an AHK script? |

Most likely this is both a function of the player and the renderer being used. For example, in madVR Fullscreen Exclusive mode, alt-tab does nothing, while on several of the others I tried (with MPC-HC), it exits fullscreen mode. Maybe there is a setting buired down somewhere that can change that behavior, but I couldn't find one at first glance.
