is there any reason why multiavchd disables the "move transitional files"option?
i clicked it but multiavchd just starts copying instead of passing.... i mean , copying nearly 1tb might take some time.... edit: i read that deank deactivated the "move input files" function no matter if clicked or not to prevent the lazy ones :- ) could you please activate it again, please , please!!! options to force NC files to 1280x720 or 1920x1080
hi deank, is it possible to add options to force NC files to 1280x720 or 1920x1080? For example, when a NC file was added and the media tab showed that it was 1280x528, there is an option for user to click to make the video become 1280x720 (with black bar of course)? Thanks!

i understand and agree totally. according to this,it should be just passing them in case of already existing avchd folders. but when i want to create a multiavchd compilation existing out of several avchd folders it starts copiing , even if "move transitional files" is checked/activated! that is what makes me curious? |

Yes, it copies them because they are AVCHD folders. It is supposed to do this. Doesn't matter if the AVCHD folder comes from your CamCoder or is a previous multiAVCHD compilation.
I may add option to use MOVE if input is AVCHD folder, previously created by multiAVCHD. Is this your question? |

Hmm, sorry for not making myself clear. From what I read in this thread, 1280x528, for example, will be converted to 480p. But I really want to keep it as a 720p video. So, I have to convert it using mkv2vob first. Then, combine multiple AVCHDs into one using multiAVCHD. If the above can be done in one tool instead of two, it will be super.

@miloka: It is now in build 381.
If Move files is checked and input AVCHD folder is created by multiAVCHD - contents will be moved to improve speed. If input AVCHD folder is not created by multiAVCHD - contents will be copied, no matter if Move files is checked or not. @ejlu2003: The idea with multiAVCHD is never touch the video content - NO RE-ENCODING. 1280x528 is NOT converted to 480p. It is just PLAYSTATION3 switches to this mode (for unknown reason). I'd like to have it play in 720p, too, but nothing can be done (yet!). So mkv2vob will convert it for you... There is no reason to implement "video re-encoding" in multiAVCHD as the idea for the application is totally different. Dean Last edited by deank; 14th February 2009 at 11:21. |

[11:38:38] [14/02/2009] build 380 (latest is: 381) - Bugfix for multiple playlists (thanks to FSNAVI). Move files will work for input multiAVCHD folders. [11:38:38] File consistency check finished! Build 384
******** If for some reason there is a m2ts file missing in input folders, processing won't stop, but missing file will be replaced with 1 second empty clip and compilation process will continue. If you're importing old AVCHD compilations and you wan't to get rid of some videos (m2ts files) - you can delete those to save space - 24kb black clip will be used to replace the missing file. * Fixed CLPI processing... Build 385
[x] Apply compliant height to CPI/MPL and [x] Force black fill for NC files will now work for input AVCHD folders, too - not only files. If you use AVCHD input - its titles will be checked for non-compliant video resolution and will be fixed. |

do you mean the NC videos still don't play correctly in PS3? I tried one and it actually didn't work(play with 4:3 but it should be 16:9). |

multiAVCHD uses a workaround to remove the green bar for those videos with NC height. I tested with a lot of samples and they always play top-aligned, subtitles are in the bottom (black) part and they play 16:9.
No need to remind you that your input files have to have width of 720/1280/1440/1920 pixels. |
