Agreed.
Donna, let me ask you why you think JDobbs should help you resolve this issue? The source is clearly a rip, downloaded from somewhere on the web. It may or may not be BD compliant,... how would he know? He could well end up chasing problems that are caused not by BD-RB, but solely because of something someone else did to that file. Furthermore, helping someone use illegally sourced movie files would put this Doom9 site in legal jeopardy. I doubt you'll receive any further assistance. |

From my point of view, you would have to show and unhide the evidence of the crime that you accused me. This very bad to be the accuser, judge, and executioner of accusing a user without presenting evidence supporting alleged and hypothetical crime. That you slight his work of accuser, judge, and executioner... |

Trouble with bd-rebuilder audio since feb 2015
I am having trouble with bd-rebuilder since 2/2015, I can never answer the "random Questions" properly but that should not make it impossible for me to ask questions, I did DOnate maybe more then mosy, and I don't intend to waist space on paragraphs like this one ONCE I can ask like a normal person.
So I will try over and over till I get the random question right, then edit this post. |

DTS-HD XLL audio issues since CloneBD HELP

So I will try over and over till I get the random question right, then edit this post. I cannot convert ANY Blu-ray to DVD using BDrebuilders "Movie Only" feature. This began happening right after the CLONEBD install this year and Clonedvdmobile another Slysoft product also took a nosedive. I noticed reviewing the the DVD's (using mediainfo) created that the vts_01_1.vob had 1 video and up to 3 audio streams whereas the rest of the vts_02 and on were missing the audio streams. In several cases with multiple audio languages the foreign languages came through or the commentary came through when the primary failed. I saw similar cases ranging from 2008 posted on doom9 and elsewhere but ALL the solution presented failed, what is the right combinations I may need in ffdshow, bdrebuilder (and special flags as stated above) or tricks to get this to work with reasonable aggravation using BDrebuilder ? I really hate to babble on or fill this forum with logs but I've tried for over 2 months to fix it and the combinations of elements are so excessive that it would be another year to get it JUST right. Any clues? DufAvisynth |

@duftopia:
- BD Rebuilder v0.38.0.3, Ok This version is way outdated. Current version is v0.50.05 Secondly: Has your source "THE_SIGNAL_NA_00800" been preprocessed by CLONEBD or whatever? Last edited by Sharc; 31st March 2015 at 09:22. |

I think you are running an old version of INSPECT. That program is no longer a part of BD-RB. You need to execute INSPECT from the HELP menu. Also, you provided the INF file -- but what I'd really need to see is the contents of BDREBUILDER.INI. Quote:

We don't need to provide any more proof than what you already provided yourself with the disc volume label in that log. No retail disc uses a volume label like that! Not even 1. The chances your source is an original disc is non-existent Verstuurd vanaf mijn Nexus 7 met Tapatalk |

Does this problem exist for this source only, or do you get the same problem with other discs too? Edit1: I don't have your disc, but I just did a Blu-ray to DVD backup, 2 audio and 3 sups, and all worked fine. No problem here. In the DVD output folder you should see in the Video_ts folder: Video_ts.bup Video_ts.ifo Vts_01_0.ifo Vts_01_0.bup Vts_01_1.vob Vts_01_2.vob Vts_01_3.vob Vts_01_4.vob but no Vts_02_xxx because you have only 1 title (1 movie). Perhaps something is strange with your source file. I would suggest to delete the existing rebuilder.ini and let BD_RB generate a new rebuilder.ini which you do not modify. I am not sure about the validity of the options: DTSX_ENABLE=0 [OVERRIDE_AVCHD_AUDIO=1] KEEP_HD_DTS_HD XXL=1 Edit2: You could play the Vts_01_x.vob with a SW player like MPC-HC or VLC. Do you get the audio? Or when you inspect the .vob with MediaInfo, does the audio stream show up or is it missing? Is the Disc Cinavia protected? Last edited by Sharc; 1st April 2015 at 18:14. |

What are you using to burn the DVD? I see nothing that would cause an issue, and it looks like the job is completing without error. As Sharc mentioned, you have a few nonsensical settings -- but they should have no effect. One thing I notice is that you have MODE=3 in your INI. That means that at least at the time you printed the INI you aren't in movie-only mode (although your log shows you were at the time of the apparently successful encode). Using your log and INI file as a reference, you should look for a folder called "U:\HOLD\THE_SIGNAL_NA_DVD". That is what should be burned to disc. That folder should also contain a VIDEO_TS folder (which is indicative of a DVD structure). You can simply select it with ImgBurn -- which will check itself for correct DVD settings (they are different than BD) and burn it appropriately. Make sure you don't override it's suggestion and try to burn in the wrong format. Last edited by jdobbs; 1st April 2015 at 16:57. |

i have 2 issues relating to quick play backup.
1) how can i get quick play backup to eliminate the extras that are less than 35 min in length? 2) how can i set the quick play menu to NOT say feature presentation ... and SAY S1 E1 etc, my input is being ignored for the episode titles, the main title i can change and it take that. and it always seems to find 3 titles, 2 that are real episodes and 1 that is abunch of extras combined, like deleted scenes that i don't want. thanks for your help. |

2) You can make the menu say anything you want: "Click MODE/Edit Quick-Play Menu", click on the title you want to edit (in the list), and edit the title name in the provided area. It's a lot easier if your source has been copied to a hard drive. There has been at least one report of problems when trying to edit directly from a disc -- although I haven't been able to repeat it (it works fine for me). thanks for your response.
1) You can set the threshold (in minutes) via the menu ... worked fine. 2) i cannot make it says what i want ... it keeps defaulting to 01. Feature Presentation: [00:59:33.611] 02. Feature Presentation: [00:50:55.510] despite the fact i want it to be S1 E1, etc. it doesn't take. it is an decrypted, mounted, .iso file, not that it should make a difference, but i won't say what i put in the above fields, and keeps defaulting to 01. Feature Presentation: [00:59:33.611] 02. Feature Presentation: [00:50:55.510] how can i fix??? thanks Last edited by jetli; 1st April 2015 at 23:33. |

i copied files out of .iso ... it works!
the menu used to keep reverting to feature presentation every time you change exit and enter, and the results were always feature presentation. now the menu stay at what i set it to and the results are good. thanks for your help. next question ... if i have, 2 features out of 15, that i want, and those 2 are just bigger than a bd25 with multi languages and, let's say i want just english and i eliminate the rest as usual, and let's say it set it to bd25 output THEN ... how does your program know if i need compression and how much to give to each of the titles and not over compress knowing that i only want 2 titles not 15, and eliminating alot of unneeded languages? thanks |

Tried Everything Mention no progress
I erased the bd rebuilder.ini file and started FRESH, still got the same results:
Yes you are correct about the vts files they are all 01-x where x goes up 1,2,3,4... Mediainfo shows vts-01-1.vob HAS a video stream and 1 or more audio streams - (Ac-3) the rest of the .vob files are missing all audio streams When I play ANY of the .vobs 1-5 in media player, vlc and powerplayer 9 they all lose the audio (dts-hd Xll sound file?). ALL bds since installation of CloneBD earlier this year have gone awry with the same failure to convert to DVD issue in BD-Rebuilder. I am NOT trying to burn the image yet since I have already created my share of cup holder dvds without audio. The video_ts folders and structures are created exactly as stated, I will look into the mode flag, but it seems (mode=3 is movie only mode? also custom and target size #'s look odd but the folders mention ARE created correctly |
