Nice program, hadn't used it before
Just a couple of quick questions (too speed workflow a little): 1) Is there a way of turning off the "Grabbing Frame" feature (using AVS scripts, so don't need to edit anything in the frameview - it slows down queing quite a bit with 0.15FPS filter chains!!!)? 2) Is there a way of setting an Audio format as default (and Normalisation values, etc)? I realise both of these may be an .INI feature, but I was unable to find the corrent syntax 7ek |

Can RipBot264 convert 29.97fps source to 23.967fps?
EDIT: I found some options to force the output to 23.967 fps. Will try it now. Last edited by hoju3508; 26th September 2009 at 22:28. Reason: Added EDIT statement. |

Atak recommand me to change my amd dual core 6400+ 3.20 ghz processor for an quad. i finally reinstall windows and all directx latest revision, make all fresh install and get same trouble. I really dont find the trouble why audio sync can't syncronized. It's why i turn back in my log movie conversions to see what version was stable in the past, and make it done with the latest ffdshow and sometimes i get trouble but need to play a lot with delay audio. the trouble i get, i can't find the audio delay from the original mkv and tranfert into ripbot. if i took an original blu-ray, all is ok.

somehow my jobs list got cleared when i had 8 jobs in it. I still have the jobs folders with the demuxed audio/video and subtitles. Is there any way to restore it? tried search to no avail :\ i also see the jobs.list and jobs.state files but no idea what to do with them.
EDIT: I see I can add the job's .avs file...is that the proper way to do it? Last edited by gohamstergo; 26th September 2009 at 21:57. |

Any chance to include MB-Tree and VAQ/AutoVAQ controls soon ?
What an awesome tool ! Arigatou ! Edit : I replaced x264_x86.exe file with an x264.nl build (after renaming off course) , RipBot 264 refused to encode with it ? Can someone shed some light ?

Remove the --nal-hrd from your profile. This option is not valid at least for 1259, the current recommended version. You can also find what went wrong in the Ripbot logs. BTW, 1-pass encodes go WAY down in bitrate with this build, and you need to lower the rate factor substantially in order to achieve a comparable quality encode.

It seems my jobs queue disappeared because ripbot decided to change the hard drive it uses for temp files. Can there please be an option to select the temp file hard drive? This is the first problem ive encountered with ripbot directly, other than that its been working great. thanks!

Interesting. I'll have to perform more encodes, but I've experienced relatively large drops in overall file size of encodes since dropping in 1259 in Ripbot with a relative drop in quality at the same crf. The only thing I've had to change was removing the --nal-hrd switch of the default Blu-Ray profile to make it work with the latest Ripbot.
EDIT: I'm now wondering if not cropping has anything to with it, as the encoder sees large areas of black. I'll have to test it with a cropped source. Last edited by kikker; 27th September 2009 at 22:53. |

If you're talking about something other than MB-tree, I have no idea what you're talking about |

2) View all files 3) "SVN builds by clsid" or "SVN builds by XXL" 4) "64-bit builds" or "win64" 5) Click and download

On your HTPC, you're still using PowerDVD or Home Media Player correct? I would try playing the disc on a PS3 or stand alone Blu-ray player.
