HTC HD2 / EVO AVC Profile Question

Does anyone know which AVC profiles & levels a HTC HD2 supports? After an hour of Googling, I've come up with such a wide range of responses I'm not sure what's accurate.

The reason I ask is I'm going to get the HTC EVO in two weeks and their base hardware & specs are very similar (OS Aside). I'd like to get a head start on making appropriately sized videos for the device.

I use http://handbrake.fr/

modified the iPhone profile to up the bitrate 1mbps and set the height to be 400 pix high.
