laptop capture card

after having mastered the capture of blu-ray and dvd material I was thinking of capturing hdtv broadcast. The problem : I got a laptop so I need either an express card or an usb capture card that permit me to tune channel and extract the transport stream untouched. I don't care about hdmi s-vhs, remote control the record through a voodoo doll functionality as long as I get my .ts file xD. So what should I get... well especially what should I avoid like the plague ?

And if it's not possible to get an answer here, any idea of which site would give me more information ?

Edit : ATSC and NTSC card, QAM optional

Argh sorry my bad : ATSC NTSC (qam is an extra but I can live without it for now, I'm not working anywhere near the outlet) Also, easy playback on the laptop is a +.
