Recommend GPU for play Hevc UHD 4k

Hello

Im going to upgrade my GPU:
Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X OC-Edition 4.0 GB

Because this GPU didn’t support Hevc hdr 4k

So I’m thinking to go for nividia (GTX 1650) is it enough for me ?

My htpc:

CPU
Intel Core i5-3570K

Motherboard
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155

Graphics Card
Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X OC-Edition 4.0 GB

RAM
Corsair Vengeance 16GB 4×4GB

Power Supply
Mushkin 700 Watt

PC Case
HTPC SilverStone GD08

Thanks

If you just want to play HEVC video, the GTX 960 is totally sufficient. It does 4k HEVC using 8, 10, or 12 bit.

The 1650 can also do 4:4:4 in all these flavors. That's probably not important for most use cases. The 1650 will also be a ton faster for gaming

Great!

In the future, the PC Hardware / Software forum may be more appropriate for stuff like this
