FFMPEG, AVISynth and Animated videos?

I asked similar question on another forum but what would good way to record animated cutscenes to make them HD for Youtube? I am planning on recording a gameplay video and I want to know what do if I encounter an animated cutscenein the game and Iw ant to record the footage.

Like this for an example.

I'm not sure I understand the question, but you can capture gameplay on Linux/MacOs/Windows with the free (they take donations) and open source software 'OBS Studio'.

I was referring to how to make the animated cutscenes look good for YouTube after you dump the videos from said emulators?

It seems to me that you just need to immediately select the quality criteria in the settings during video editing. You just need to choose the most suitable software for this.

I do have some editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Hitfilm Express and Virtualdub2.
