At the moment it is not possible. But I've found an up-to-date x264 build which can do that and I plan to use this build.

So you can't make it convert from 6 channels to stereo?

You should mix it down to stereo. Audio Tab>Effects>Channels>Stereo
BTW 96kbps is a bit high for HEv2, LC or "Auto" might be better choice.

If the source has 2 audio tracks it only outputs 1 audio track. How can I get it to mux all audio tracks even if I already selected mkv as the container?

That's not supported at the moment.

Yes. As default first one is selected. You can select the one you wanted from combobox. Selecting is enough, you don't have to do anything else.

I believe JP is the correct language code for Japanese and it's not in the list. I tried JA but it doesn't select the right audio
