@a132431 @Natty I just removed the warning hoping that it works and don't break other use cases, it's not online yet. @JohnLai I've tried to reproduce it with a 1,5 GB 40 min file, 5 jobs with two instances, it was OK but indexing takes only 2 seconds because the file is small and the ssd is fast, next I will try a bigger file on a HDD.

Thank you!!!!!! I thought you were on vacation but it's great you're able to fix this issue!! StaxRIP is by far the best encoder app i've used, and this fix will make it perfect |

Can discount the possibility of HDDs dying. Weird, you mentioned it indexing only takes 2 seconds, but in my case the indexing doesn't even start for second instance and newly third instance. This is very weird indeed. Hmmm.... When first instance started, it is indexing just fine and it takes around 1-3 minutes to complete the indexing. Ah, forgot to mention the build. It is 1.6.0.0 stable build with only nvencc being manually replaced by latest version. |

A new build that addresses recent issues:
https://github.com/stax76/staxrip/bl...d/changelog.md @JohnLai I've tried it also with a full movie on a external USB3 HDD, ffmsindex of job 1 and job 2 was processing in parallel with 2 staxrip instances without problems. Where all jobs created with File Batch? In that case every job has a separate source file and there should be no conflict running ffmsindex in parallel. Since there are more processing related bug reports I cannot reproduce I will do more testing with full Blu-rays instead of the small sample files I usually use for testing.

Hmm...I decided to delete all staxrip settings and start from zero + clean staxrip profile. Everything seem to work now. Probably some old settings from previous staxrip 1.5.x.x version somehow interferes with 1.6.0.0. Sorry for the trouble. |

in the filter profile editor you can use:
Code:
[Antialiasing] EEDI2 = LoadCplugin("D:\Temp\EEDI2_092_64\EEDI2_092_64\EEDI2.dll") EEDI2(mthresh=10, lthresh=20, vthresh=20, estr=2, dstr=4, maxd=24, field=-1, map=0, nt=50, pp=1)

After coping the file to autoload directory I used this script...
[Antialiasing] EEDI2 = EEDI2(mthresh=10, lthresh=20, vthresh=20, estr=2, dstr=4, maxd=24, field=-1, map=0, nt=50, pp=1) But its still showing G:\PC Software\Portable\StaxRip-x64-1.6>"G:\PC Software\Portable\StaxRip-x64-1.6 \Apps\AVSMeter\AVSMeter64.exe" "C:\Users\Azmain\Desktop\New folder (9)\1.Torador a! NCOP 1_temp\1.Tordora! NCOP 1_new.avs" AVSMeter 2.4.3 (x64) - Copyright (c) 2012-2016, Groucho2004 AviSynth+ 0.1 (r2508, MT, x86_64) (0.1.0.0) Script error: expected `)' (C:\Users\Azmain\Desktop\New folder (9)\1.Toradora! NCOP 1_temp\1.Tordora! NCOP 1_new.avs, line 20, column 17) G:\PC Software\Portable\StaxRip-x64-1.6>pause Press any key to continue . . . |

The entire script is shown in the menu with 'Preview Code'.

One thing that has changed many builds back that I forgot to mention . If you have a script with long lines that exceed the width of the input error, as soon as you insert or remove any character on the portion of the code that's past the text box edge, it jumps back to the beginning of the line. This makes it 'impossible' to edit. Previous behaviour was the window would resize, albeit do it slowly. Also if you have many lines in the script it doesn't really fit on the screen either.
