Function to update a frame in C language
I am not sure if what I am going to ask is possible.
I have been taking a look at writting plugins, but I don't want to create a whole plugin. I would like to know just the bare minimum to create a function that reads frames from a node and expose a node for the following filter. I know how to read the frames and planes from a node. I know how to create a new frame, but how do I create a new node, with the frames to put it in a VSMap. How can I do that? What options do I have? |

If you're talking about writing "plugin in python script", i.e. not actually the binary plugin, but a script that changes data in frames or altering frame properties, there is core.std.ModifyFrame() for that purposes.

From what I have read so far, it looks like I need to register the function in order to be able to use it. It is like
- registerFunction - createFilter - Init - getFrame - freeFrame Do I also need to embed it in a plugin or I can use it straigh away? |
