Not much point if it's going to scale to 1920x1080 regardless, just like MadVR.

I don't understand why Over/Under works correctly in MPC-BE/MadVR and Line Interleaved doesn't: they are effectively the same frame size before scaling to desktop, but they don't appear as the same frame size in a window on the desktop.

Seems ffmpeg/libav have given up on MVC decoder development?

madVR doesn't do Over/Under. It does do top-and-bottom, but that's also half-resolution.

It comes up occasionally, but its not really moving much. With 3D TVs slowly dying out in newer generations, I wouldn't be surprised if its never finished.

Where can I get the "mpc audio render" .ax files for both x86 & x64?

I am experiencing a very odd issue when playing FILM (.cpk or .cak) files. The video renders but the audio (PCM according to MPC-BE) is played highly distorted and very quickly. This occurs with either MPC-BE built-in filters or with LAV Filters and occurs with both the built-in audio renderer and with the default DirectSound device.

MPC-HC does not have this issue.

A bunch of samples can be found here: http://samples.ffmpeg.org/game-formats/film-cpk/

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!!

Bug in LAV Source - it's output wrong/incorrect MediaType for audio stream. In MPC-HC - connect LAV Audio for "private" MediaType.

Hi Aleksoid, I am having difficulty locating the "private" MediaType. Is this done in "External Filters" of MPC? Can it be done in LAV Audio Configuration?

You can't do anything - until LAV not fix. LAV output mediatype MEDIASUBTYPE_PCM, but it's wrong.

It's all question to your video-driver.

Do you mean that the video-driver handles video files (eg. 8-bit, 10-bit, hevc, vp9, hdr etc. ) differently ?

I'm not aware of any media type for planar PCM audio, as those files contain.

Maybe you just delete MEDIASUBTYPE_PCM from output, as it's wrong ??

Or add new subtype, i use custom for ADX ADPCM in MPEGSplitter & Audio Decoder:
{78646153-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71} for ffmpeg codec AV_CODEC_ID_ADPCM_ADX.

Anyway to stop MPC-BE/HC from overwriting screenshots with the same filename?

This mov-file is no longer played normally in recent versions.
Is it a bug, or support for this old format is simply dropped?
