The graph helped understand where the "half-overlapped" frames go... (see VFR frames 1 and 2 that overlap more than, respectively less than half).

I see. Though I'm confused now then. Does the solution I posted not work?

It just hit me now that you were giving an example where VFRtoCFR would do bad. Sorry about that. I pretty much strapped that algorithm for the proposed one, which I'm currently writing. Expect to see an update!

Edit: On second look, currently VFRtoCFR would have it correct. Another brainfart...

I've finally took the time to rewrite the plugin. It should be a lot smarter in choosing which frame to use and it follows my proposed algorithm in my posts above.

I have no idea how I missed this, but if you mean would there be a need to change the source to compile to 64-bit, I think so, but I have not tried.

No just wanted to test it with Vapoursynth 64bit back then and the download only included a 32bit version.

Ah, I see. I needed to compile a 64-bit DLL anyway. So I'll release an updated archive soon. Not sure how hard to compile to VapourSynth 64-bit.

Sorry, I don't know how I missed this. Yes, I play to compile to 64-bit soon.

The 64-bit compiled version is available here.
