I'm not there and can't look at everything you did or didn't do, and there are way too many variables -- so I'd be guessing... all I can say is that you should rip it again and run the new version. There was an issue with sync on the extras with prior versions, but it was fixed. BD Rebuilder works with "Robin Hood".

Video encode step fails
Hi there,
I was attempting to rebuild Kelly's Heroes to a 25 GB size, it ran thru phase one but when it attempts to encode it fails. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit with the latest versions of Matroska splitter and FFDSHOW. Was able to run a successful rebuild of "Charade" earlier. Just trying the "Movie Only" option in all cases. Here's the log: ----------------------- [14:30:44] BD Rebuilder v0.35.01 (beta) - Source: KELLY'S_HEROES_1970 - Input BD size: 29.82 GB - Approximate total content: [02:23:31.644] - Target BD size: 22.66 GB - Windows Version: 6.1 [7600] - MOVIE-ONLY mode enabled - Auto Quality: Good (Very Fast), ABR - Audio Settings: AC3=1 DTS=1 HD=0 Kbs=640 [14:30:44] PHASE ONE, Encoding - [14:30:44] Extracting A/V streams [VID_00020] - [14:34:55] Reencoding: VID_00020 (1 of 1) - [14:34:55] Collecting video information - Source Video: VC-1, 1920x1080 - Rate/Length: 23.976fps, 206,473 frames - Bitrate: 20,260 Kbs - [14:34:55] Reencoding: VID_00020, Pass 1 of 1 - Encode failed. - HAALI Splitter: Isn't recommended version - FFDSHOW: , not recommended version New bugs are introduced in those packages often. Go to the first page of this thread and read the instructions. You'll note that it asks you to download the versions linked there. For HAALI, make sure you remove the folder in "Program Files" after removing it -- some of the versions leave files there and cause BD-RB to see it as the wrong version. What are you using to rip your discs? The "frame too large" error you mentioned is most often associated with a bad rip. I've heard of it happening on poorly ripped sources that folks have downloaded. If you downloaded it please don't discuss it here.... as that is strictly against DOOM9 rules. If your rip wasn't done with AnyDVD -- then that would likely be the cause. My experience leads me to believe that AnyDVD is the only reliable ripping software for Blu-Ray. Thousands ripped: and none that had ripping issues (at least not in a long, long time). Last edited by jdobbs; 13th October 2010 at 20:16. |

Video encode step fails
Hi there,
I deleted the incorrect versions of HAALI and FFDSHOW (it deleted the folders from the x86 program directory), and installed the recommended versions from your links provided. Reran the job to rebuild Kelly's Heroes, got further this time but now I get a config error in FFDSHOW, is there a way to change this so it will run? If you want to do it yourself, click on the start button, select programs, select FFDSHOW, then "Video Decoder Configuration". Under VC-1, select "VC-1" select "wmv9". |

Do you see where it says, "Resuming from previously started job."? I ran into that problem with one of my earlier encodes. When I deleted all of my previous attempt and restarted from scratch, It ran without any issues. Give it a try. Vulcan94 |

Precisely, did you test a new version of ffdshow that seems to work fine for you? Some great playback improvement had been made since. By the way, thank you for your last version, HUGE update!

You've posted your issue. Continuing to post over-and-over will only result in your posts being ignored. DON'T POST ANY MORE about this same issue. Review rules 8, 11, and 13. Also, from the first post of this thread: Quote:
I've done every one of the discs you've mentioned without issue. Further repetitive posts attempting to get more attention to your issue will result in strikes. Last edited by jdobbs; 14th October 2010 at 14:23. |

I try new ones all the time, and almost every time something will create a new issue. It never seems to be consistent. One time it may be MPEG-2, the next time it may be an audio problem. I'd certainly like to use newer releases -- but it has to work across lots of different CODECS for Blu-ray support. All I can say is that if you use one of the two I suggest, directshow support for X264 is solid.
