This is going to be a walk in the park. The only gotcha is that in bluray playlists, the IN_time/OUT_time PTSs are the top 32 bits of the normal 33 bits (shifted right by 1 bit), so they have to be multiplied by 2 to be compared to the video/audio PTSs.

Got the garbage skipping working for CROUPIER. I'd like to ask users whether they think garbage skipping should be optional, i.e., should there be an option to not skip garbage? I always prefer not to have unnecessary options. Can anyone see a use case where it might be desirable to retain the content outside the playlist in<-->out times? After this is decided, I'll make a release.

BTW, I also enhanced the GUI to do an automatic re-browse when the skip first or skip last boxes are checked/unchecked after an MPLS has been loaded. Much more friendly!

I just noticed that you can click multiple times on the "Browse" button. I think the browse dialog sould be shown in modal form so you can't click on the parent form while the second form/dialog is open/shown. -> "ShowDialog()" instead of "Show()".

I see no reason to keep it, it's not meant to be there.

Do you plan to adjust chapter times if you remove the small sections?

Chapter times should be adjusted by whatever time you take out or they won't be where they were originally meant to be.

Thank you for bringing that up. In my experience the chapter times are already correct, e.g., with Croupier the chapter mark zero corresponds to the IN_time of the first M2TS. If you have a counter-example, please advise. The same applies to PGS streams. Rejoice!

Nice update!

This gui update seems to be one step closer to extract/split a playlist by chapter

Thank you. Yes, chapter and episode splitting are now high on the priority list. Would you like to elaborate on your needs in that regard?

So the most simple function would be extract from chapter [1] to [6], basically two comboboxes. But I never saw in a gui an option to split after X chapters. If a BD has 5 episodes (=25 chapters) and every episode consists of 5 chapters I would just set it to "split after every 5th chapter", instead of manually changing the comboboxes to 1-5, 6-10, 11-15 etc ...

Thank you. Can you please suggest a typical title (with purchase link) that I can use for development?

Hi videoh
Small hint for the Angles. A user have no info about how much Angles are present.
If only one Angle is there, the Angle edit field should be disabled.
Have you more than one Angle, it is better to have a combobox with all possible Angle numbers.

The "chapters problem" is mostly present on jap BDs only... would it help if I just make some compact "Disc Shares" with this new tool here? https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=177187

EDIT
Dgdemux seems to work fine with it.

Sure, anything you can give me will help. A link to purchase one is fine too.

I guess such disc have one big m2ts file.
You could use the "-r" switch, and videoh could restore the m2ts file and can check the split-feature.

DiscShare cut m2ts slices at 6144 bytes, thereby the m2ts units intact.
