Unlike the picture posted for Naked Alibi, I get only the properties for the first short m2ts. The demuxed result is .264 for the whole mpls and chapters but no audios or subs.
I just tested it with 1.0.0.6 and see no issues. I selected skip first and then loaded the 00004.mpls playlist. It shows video, three audio, and one subtitle streams.

You did not reload the MPLS after checking the skip first option. I'll mention that in the manual.

Ah, I wasn't aware I needed to reload the mpls after checking that option. Sorry.
Just tried it with 1005 and it is indeed showing the list. Checking that box before loading the mpls works too.

No problem. Your report helps me to improve the user manual. Looks like a great movie. I'll watch it tonight.

OK, great

Another type of bluray you may want to test is one that features "unrelated" stuff left on the m2ts. Such as test screens. MTX handles those with mpls loaded, eac3to doesn't.
I will try and go over my collection and see if I can remember one with such an issue and try it.

OK, found one. I tried it with 1005 (I still didn't generate a license) and it's not removing the test screens from the start. I remember there was a disc that had added unrelated bits at the end of the m2ts too, but can't recall what is was at the moment.

Sadly, I think the disc is out of print but I think you can find it in amazon market place:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Croupier-Blu-ray/139909/

MTX is able to handle removing it when you use the mpls, eac3 doesn't and makemkv doesn't.

I'll order it. In the meantime can you show a screenshot DGDemuxGUI with your MPLS loaded? Thank you.

There's only one M2TS, so it will be interesting to figure out how the other apps know what to delete. Any idea about that?

Disk is on order but will be a week or two before it arrives.

Only MKVToolNix cuts out the rubbish properly. From what I recall, it does not display when you play the disc on a blu-ray player. Best guest is the mpls has some pointers on where the playback starts and end that bypasses the added material. I'm no expert on Blu-ray authoring, just guessing.

I just tried TSMuxer as well. It is not able to remove the unrelated material either

It's fairly easy to spot there is an issue when using eac3to:

Code:
eac3to Drive:\
1) 00003.mpls, 00004.m2ts, 1:34:25
   - Chapters, 12 chapters
   - h264/AVC, 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)
   - DTS Master Audio, English, stereo, 48kHz

eac3to Drive:\ 1)
M2TS, 1 video track, 1 audio track, 1 subtitle track, 1:35:55, 24p /1.001
1: Chapters, 12 chapters
2: h264/AVC, 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9)
3: DTS Master Audio, English, 2.0 channels, 24 bits, 48kHz
   (core: DTS, 2.0 channels, 1509kbps, 48kHz)
4: Subtitle (PGS), English
Part of why I suggested your gui should show the runtime as well.

I like how new 1.0.0.6 GUI looks. Awesome work!
About DTS issue. It almost perfect for now with new 1.0.0.6 version. I say almost, because at 1:54:05.818 (place where I did screens earlier) it perfect, exactly the same milliseconds. But somewhere after that it becomes +10ms. (overall length is 10ms more too). 10ms is nothing, but I can't understand why almost whole movie sync is perfect, but at the end has tiny issue.
BDInfo length 2:04:39.136, demuxed stream 2:04:39.146.

Anyway, videoh you did a great job with DTS HD-MA processing.

PS: I'd like to have "minimize" button, for now it's impossible to minimize.

BDInfo length can be bassed in container info, not in DTS duration.

A DTS stream is a sequence of frames each one of 512 samples (if is a standard 48 KHz) with a duration of 512/48000 seconds.

A DTS stream with 701169 frames have a duration of 7479136 ms = 02:04:39.136 exact, but maybe the dts encoder create one more (some extra microsecond in the source) silent frame until 701170 with a duration of 7479146.667 ms or 2:04:39.146667

Don't worry about the 11 ms of extra silence at end.

No, I checked, it's not a silence frame at end.
It happens at 1.54.35, where the last m2ts starts.

I'll have a look at that 10ms thing.

I checked. AC3 file has 4 identical frames at the start, and as you said eac3to and mkvtoolnix remove 1 (but it's not written in logs). But embedded track demuxed with DGDemux 1 frame shorter than ac3 tracks and has identical length to eac3to ac3 tracks. That's weird. It seems to me like DGDemux adds 1 frame at the start, but it doesn't do it, right?
You said "first video PTS is 11650 ms and the first audio PTS is 11633 ms (pid 1104)", can DGDemux add 1 frame because of that?

No. DGDemux does not add frames. It just does not remove the same frames as eac3to (as part of the gaps processing).

To be honest, I find this comparing to eac3to or other applications to be irrelevant, given that we implement different algorithms. If you can demonstrate an issue with sync or other functionality using DGDemux'ed streams, then I will be interested.

Here is DGDemux/DGDemuxGUI 1.0.0.8:

http://rationalqm.us/board/viewtopic...p=10325#p10325

Adds an option to not separate THD+AC3 streams, as suggested by von Suppé.

@videoh Thank you for explaining. I'm sorry that I took your time.
Waiting for "Suppress video filler NALUs for AVC", it will be interesting to test.
